Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny Is Getting a Remaster
Capcom is letting everyone know they’re going to update and enhance “Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny” for release this year.
Back in 2019, we released an enhanced version of the original game, “Onimusha: Warlords”. It looks like this upcoming remaster will follow a similar approach, featuring higher resolution, trophy support, and only minor updates. But I appreciate your interest nonetheless!
Back when I first saw the announcement trailer for this game, I was immediately struck by its stunning visuals – a far cry from the original that graced our screens in 2002 on the PlayStation 2. That classic title truly set the bar for action gaming, and it appears that this updated version is refining those core elements even further.
The story unfolds around Jubei, who engages in combat against Nobunaga while harnessing diverse demonic abilities. If you enjoyed it back then, it would be rewarding to delve into the history of the series prior to the upcoming major release, Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny is out this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
