The heartbreaking scene perfectly captured the deep rift that has caused significant pain within the Beckham family. It was a powerful image representing the devastating division that has created a gaping hole in their family relationships.

During Paris Fashion Week last night, Victoria Beckham presented her latest clothing line. However, many noticed that her son, Brooklyn, was noticeably absent from the front row.

For years, supporting Victoria’s fashion label had been a close-knit family effort. Brooklyn consistently showed his support, always attending her shows alongside his father, David, and brothers, Romeo and Cruz, as well as his younger sister, Harper. They understood better than anyone the hard work, dedication, and emotional investment Victoria put into each collection. They knew firsthand the effort and sometimes sacrifices behind the scenes.

However, the 26-year-old influencer was clearly missing from the family gathering at the Val-de-Grace church and monastery in Paris yesterday. His wife, Nicola Peltz, 30, was also absent, following the serious disagreements that have led to David and Victoria’s oldest son becoming distant from the rest of the Beckham and Adams families.

Last year, Brooklyn and Nicola attended the event looking stylish in matching tuxedos. Unfortunately, it was one of the last times Posh and Becks had the chance to see their son and his wife.

Despite everything, 51-year-old Victoria had reason to be cheerful while showcasing her Spring Summer 2026 line in Paris. She looked stylish in a grey power suit – a piece from her own collection – with the jacket priced at £990 and the coordinating trousers at £590.

Husband David naturally sat in the front row with Harper, 14, who looked adorable in a baby-pink, floor-length gown from her mother’s latest collection.

The youngest Beckham son, Cruz, age 20, also attended with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30. Jackie has become quite close to the Beckham family and is often present at their gatherings.

According to reports, the Brazilian singer – who closely resembles her boyfriend’s mother in appearance and fashion – has captured the attention of Victoria, and it’s no surprise she wore one of Victoria’s designs to the event.

Before the show, the couple posed for photos and cleverly used the media attention to promote themselves. Cruz wore a T-shirt with the date 24.10.25 on it – apparently, he’s planning to share some exciting news around then, likely related to his music career.

For the main event, Jackie wore a navy dress from the upcoming collection. It coordinated with her boyfriend Cruz’s polka dot, long-line jacket, which was created by Victoria’s workshop specifically for the occasion.

Their middle son, Romeo, also attended, but he came alone. He’s been single ever since ending his relationship with DJ Kim Turnbull back in June.

Victoria’s parents, Jackie and her father Tony, came to Paris to support her, and some of David’s family members were there too.

Dame Anna Wintour, the head of Vogue and a close friend of Victoria, was also present, along with Hollywood actress Eva Longoria.

Although people say David and Victoria have come to terms with the fact that Brooklyn doesn’t want a relationship with them now, his not being there will still cast a slight shadow over what has become a long-standing tradition for the Beckham family.

What’s particularly disheartening about his absence is that Brooklyn genuinely enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly at large gatherings like his mother’s performances.

And Victoria, too, seemed to be bolstered by the support of all her children.

Oh, it’s just heartbreaking! I’ve heard from someone who’s really close to the Beckhams, and they say the family are absolutely devastated when they’re not all together – especially when Brooklyn and Nicola can’t make it. It’s just so sad! Apparently, David and Victoria know deep down that things aren’t going to get better anytime soon. They’re realistic, you know? It just…it breaks my heart for them all. It doesn’t look like there will be a reconciliation anytime soon, and they understand that. Honestly, I’m just gutted!

It’s clear that Brooklyn isn’t currently interested in connecting with them, and they are respecting that. They understand he needs space right now and are giving him that.

It’s been difficult for them to accept the situation, and they’re very concerned about him. Brooklyn always cherished time with his family – he was very family-orientated, just like Nicola – but a recent family rift has kept them separated for the past six months.

According to sources, neither Victoria nor her family have talked this week about whether the couple will attend the show. Friends say this is because there was never any anticipation they would be there.

Such is, say friends, the depth of the family divide.

However, their absence from the front row really highlights how much things can change in just a year.

I remember when Brooklyn and Nicola were visiting last September – they seemed so happy, and you’d never have guessed what was coming. It was one of the last times they saw David and Victoria, and of course, their other three kids. We all got together at Christmas in Miami, and then again in the spring, but honestly, there hasn’t been a time when everyone was in the same room since. It’s just been…difficult.

Both Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t attend Victoria’s autumn/winter 2025 fashion show in March, and they also skipped David’s 50th birthday party at the Cipriani restaurant in Miami later that month. After that, the couple consistently declined to participate in any of David’s important celebratory events.

More heartbreak followed in August when Brooklyn and Nicola reaffirmed their commitment with a vow renewal ceremony at Nicola’s father Nelson Peltz’s house in Westchester County, New York. However, they chose not to invite any of Brooklyn’s family, and none of his friends from before his relationship with Nicola were present.
