One of the bleakest horror movies of all time is now streaming for free

In the UK, you can now stream “The Mist,” a chilling horror movie known for its grim atmosphere, completely free of charge.

According to Stephen King’s 1980 novella titled “The Mist,” the 2007 movie revolves around a father and son who find themselves enclosed in a supermarket when a strange fog descends upon their town, revealing monstrous creatures that attack anyone foolish enough to step outdoors.

As a dedicated fan, I’d like to highlight that the movie in question is helmed by none other than Frank Darabont, who’s renowned for his work on “The Walking Dead.” The talented cast includes Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, Laurie Holden, Andre Braugher, and Toby Jones.

If you’re interested or if you’d like to see it again, the movie “The Mist” can now be streamed for free in the UK on Tubi. It was just added to their ad-supported service today.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say, playing The Mist was a real treat! It seems like I’m not the only one who thinks so, since it garnered some fantastic reviews, racking up an impressive 73% score on Rotten Tomatoes from a whopping 150 critics.

According to the review, Frank Darabont’s skillful cinematography and sharp political writing in “The Mist” create an incredibly scary viewing experience, as stated in their critical appraisal.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that it’s not just The Mist that’s joining Tubi today; the 12th installment of the Halloween franchise, Halloween Kills, has also made its way there. Adding to the chills is Paul Bettany’s 2011 horror movie Priest, the body horror coming-of-age film Raw, the 1999 police procedural Resurrection, and every film in the Resident Evil series except for the seventh. Quite a spooky collection to keep us entertained!

Excitedly counting down to its July release, I can’t help but reminisce about the iconic ’90s slasher movie “I Know What You Did Last Summer” that’s now available on our favorite streaming platform.

1997’s film titled “I Know What You Did Last Summer” features Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Freddie Prinze Jr. This thriller revolves around a group of friends who endure being stalked by a hook-wielding murderer, an ordeal that begins exactly one year after they were involved in a car accident that had initially brought them together.

Today, Tubi has added more films to their collection. These include Robert Pattinson’s 2010 drama “Remember Me”, the Oscar-nominated science fiction film by Neill Blomkamp titled “District 9”, the beloved ’90s romantic comedy “Sleepless in Seattle”, and Seth Rogan’s adult-oriented comedy “Bad Neighbours”.

The Mist is now available to watch for free on Tubi.

The inaugural print issue of Digital Spy’s British Comedy Legends magazine is available for purchase! Grab your copy from newsstands or online retailers, currently selling for only £3.99.
