One of the best horror-comedies ever is leaving Netflix this weekend
This weekend, Netflix will be taking down a popular horror comedy with a stellar cast from its library, so don’t miss out – watch it now while you still can!
2009 saw the debut of “Zombieland,” a post-apocalyptic zombie story featuring Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone as members of an unconventional band of survivors. The movie can still be streamed on Netflix in the UK and Ireland until this coming Sunday, March 9, at which point it will no longer be available.
Under the guidance of director Ruben Fleischer, the movie titled “Zombieland” portrays Jesse Eisenberg’s character, Columbus, navigating through the initial phases of an outbreak by adhering meticulously to a specific set of survival guidelines.
But as he follows his rules for surviving a zombie apocalypse, things get trickier when he encounters other individuals. Introducing Stone, who goes by Wichita, accompanied by her sister Little Rock (played by Abigail Breslin). Lastly, we have Tallahassee, played by Woody Harrelson, rounding out the group.
In a world where civilization was crumbling, the characters chose to keep their distances and identify themselves solely by the cities they hailed from.
Regardless of their intention to remain detached, this troubled group embarks upon a journey towards what they believe is a secure destination – an amusement park.
The action comedy film Zombieland, penned by the screenwriters of the Deadpool movies, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, has a sequel too – Zombieland: Double Tap. This follow-up was released in 2019 and featured actors like Zoey Deutch and Rosario Dawson along with the original cast.
Meanwhile, on Netflix, they’re getting ready to unveil the Japanese action-thriller titled “Bullet Train Blast“, which is a reimagining of the 1975 movie that served as the basis for the film “Speed“.
The forthcoming film, scheduled to debut on April 23, primarily unfolds on board the Hayabusa 60 bullet train en route to Tokyo, a fast-paced vehicle that serves as the location for a bomb being hidden.
If the speed of the train falls beneath 100 km/h, the device will explosively activate. Simultaneously, the crew, passengers, and government authorities collaborate in an attempt to thwart the bomb-carrying individual as the train continues its journey.
