One of Netflix’s biggest shows has been renewed for a further two series – and has a major update on season 4

Netflix has given Bridgerton fans plenty to be excited about today.

The popular streaming service has verified that the romantic period series will indeed continue with seasons five and six.

Not only that, but there’s also a new teaser trailer for season 4, which will be releasing in 2026.

In the approaching season, we’ll be spotlighting Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton, with him dominating the limelight in these fresh clips.

At the masked dance, everyone is eager to spend time with Benedict, yet he seems captivated by just one individual.

He finds himself fixed on the enigmatic Lady in Silvers, just as spellbound by her as she seems by the grand chandelier. Yet, before he could move towards her, another admirer steps up to request a dance, causing him a pang of disappointment.

In this fresh season, we’ll see a new romantic figure named Sophie Baek, portrayed by actress Yerin Ha, and another novel addition to the cast, a young maid called Hazel, acted by Gracie McGonigal.

It remains uncertain which works by Julia Quinn will be transformed into seasons 5 and 6, along with the timeline for their release. However, showrunner Jess Brownell hinted at a desire for a quicker production pace moving forward.

Although it sounds simpler to rush through the production of our seasons, the reality is quite complex. Each season requires eight months for filming, followed by editing and dubbing in multiple languages, making a swift release quite challenging.

The composition process is rather slow, which means we’re progressing at approximately a two-year rate. However, we’re making efforts to accelerate, but it seems we’ll be maintaining this pace within that timeframe.

Bridgerton seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
