One for fans of Superstore! ITV’s brand-new sitcom confirms release date – and it’s really soon

ITV has confirmed the release date for new workplace sitcom Transaction.

Originating from writer/actor Jordan Gray (who may ring a bell as a contestant on The Voice UK) and inspired by her Comedy Central YouTube series, and featuring Nick Frost, known for his role in “Shaun of the Dead,” the show debuts on ITV2 starting Tuesday, 24 June.

On the very same day of its debut, you’ll have the chance to stream all six episodes on ITVX.

The story begins as supermarket manager Simon launches an advertising campaign that goes disastrously wrong, leading him to confront the anger of the LGBTQ+ community.

As a fervent advocate for inclusivity, I’ve taken the opportunity to welcome aboard the talented Liv, a transgender woman, who adds richness and depth to our team. Her unique perspective is not just a tick in the diversity box; it’s an essential piece of the puzzle that enhances our collective strength.

Regrettably, he can’t dismiss her due to the potential damage it could cause to his already fragile standing, and Liv understands this fully. Consequently, she seizes the chance to act with impunity.

In this game I’m diving into, it’s got a stellar cast hailing from Hartlepool. Included in the lineup is Doon Mackichan, who you might recognize from ‘Good Omens’, Thomas Gray from ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’, and Francesca Mills, a familiar face from ‘The Witcher’.

Upon the announcement of the show, Gray expressed his intention thusly: “My primary ambition for this project is to craft something as enduring as my enhancements.

Kenton Allen mentioned that the production “Transaction” is expected to be a captivating modern comedy featuring an unusual yet electrifying trio consisting of Jordan Gray, Nick Frost, and Thomas Gray.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can tell you that when Jordan’s witty words and impeccable timing meet Nick’s iconic humor, it’s like striking a comedic jackpot!

The transaction kicks off on Tuesday, 24th June, on ITVX. Afterwards, you’ll be able to stream all the episodes on ITVX.
