One Direction support act Camryn Magness dead aged 26: Singer hit while riding electric scooter in horror road accident

Camryn Magness, a singer who previously toured with the band One Direction, tragically died at the age of 26 after a road accident involving an electric scooter.

It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news of a truly sad loss. A woman tragically passed away last Friday after being hit by a vehicle in Fort Myers, Florida. Her family confirmed the news this week through her official social media channels, and it’s just heartbreaking. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved her.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Camryn, a truly special person who brought joy to everyone she met. Her cheerful personality and lively spirit will be dearly missed.

‘Whether beneath the waves or on stage, she met life with fearless energy and boundless kindness.

I can still see her, you know? Even in the calmest moments, when everything’s still, her face just… appears. It’s so vivid, so full of life. I just want her to rest peacefully, surrounded by the ocean she loved. She was the sweetest girl, and I’ll carry her in my heart always. I love her so much, and I’ll never, ever forget her.

Please remember Camryn’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers as they cope with this loss. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Camryn first toured with One Direction in 2011 during their Up All Night tour, and later rejoined them for 63 sold-out shows on their 2013 Take Me Home tour across Europe.

In 2016, she joined Fifth Harmony on their European 7/27 Tour.

Camryn started making YouTube videos when she was eight years old. This led to a record deal, and she eventually moved to Los Angeles.

Her debut single, “Wait and See,” was featured in the 2011 film Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.

She is survived by parents, Sarah and Gary, siblings Chelsea and Cable; and her fiancé Christian.
