On the move! Simon Baker supervises removalists at his $6million Sydney home amid rumours he is relocating to northern NSW

As an ardent fan of Simon Baker, watching his life unfold feels like following a rollercoaster ride filled with twists and turns. From the glamour of Hollywood to the tranquility of rural Australia, his journey is nothing short of captivating. The latest news about his move from Sydney’s Bondi to Ballina has me both excited and a bit nostalgic. I can almost hear him whispering, “Remember the Allegheny?” as he packs up his belongings.

On Wednesday, Simon Baker found himself occupied with work while he gathered his things from his luxurious residence worth $6 million in the popular neighborhood of Bondi, Sydney.

As an over-the-moon admirer, I’d like to share that “I found myself, at 55, standing there, guiding movers as they meticulously filled the back of a truck with our belongings – mattresses and home essentials alike.” It’s a surreal moment, watching my life’s treasures being transported away.

Simon donned a basic blue T-shirt, vibrant champagne pink shorts, a clean white hat, and earthy green Birkenstock sandals while overseeing the movers.

Based on the company name, Ballina Movers, it seems that the actor might be planning a permanent relocation to his residence in Northern New South Wales.

The town of Ballina is close to the small community of Nashua, where Simon maintains a country hideaway he bought for $2.9million.

Simon joins a host of Aussie stars who have been moving north of Sydney. 

Chris Hemsworth and his spouse, Elsa Pataky, reside in the area of Byron Bay, whereas Russell Crowe owns a piece of land close to Coffs Harbour.

In August, it was revealed that Zac Efron had submitted blueprints for what aims to be the “world’s most eco-friendly house” in Tweed Heads as well.

But while Simon might be making a celebrity tree change, there is no confirmation he is selling his luxurious Bondi pad just yet.

Last month, Simon narrowly avoided a drink driving charge after he was caught driving under the influence near his Northern NSW home.

At the hearing, it was revealed that the officers couldn’t obtain a blood alcohol level because of the global Microsoft service disruption happening at that particular moment.

Simon was silent as he left Mullumbimby Local Court in the company of his lawyer, Peggy Dwyer.

In a previous legal proceeding, I found myself standing before a judge, admitting my mistake of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol – a decision for which I’ve been charged and have chosen to take responsibility.

On that same day, a charge for driving while intoxicated was dropped.

The magistrate, Kathy Crittenden, indicated that the baker could potentially face a fine of up to 30 penalty units, serve a prison term of up to 18 months, or even face both penalties.

However, rather than serving out his sentence, the renowned actor exited court under a probationary release, obligated to maintain good conduct for the next nine months.

No conviction was recorded.
