Olly Murs has welcomed his second child with wife Amelia. 

In 2023, the newlywed pair announced the arrival of their son, Albert, through social media platforms. They made it clear that this was the name they had chosen for him.

Leaving the hospital with our entire family – our toddler and newborn included! A warm welcome to our newest member, Oliver (Olly)! We are now a family of four.

In April, the couple, who have a 17-month-old daughter named Madison, made an announcement that they were expecting their second child.

In a monochrome recording, a trio (consisting of parents and their daughter) was spotted strolling through a park, with the daughter being held aloft by her dad on his shoulders.

In this scenario, she donned a jean jacket featuring the phrase ‘BIG SIS’ emblazoned on it, and meanwhile, Amelia was clutching a roll of ultrasound photos of the unborn baby.

They penned in a caption: ‘We’re so egg-cited to share this..… Another Baby Murs on the way.’

In July 2023, Olly got married to his partner who’s a bodybuilder, and they welcomed a baby girl on April 17th, 2024.

Just 48 hours after Amelia, 32, had given birth, the singer was back on tour supporting Take That.

The performer shared with the audience that he had been handling diaper changes and sleepless nights, yet felt remorseful for being away from home while working.

Reflecting on my current journey, it’s undeniably a whirlwind of emotions. On one side, I’m blessed to have welcomed a breathtakingly beautiful new addition to our family – my daughter. The other side involves my wife, who tirelessly cares for her during the day, changing diapers and enduring those sleepless nights together. It’s truly a unique blend of joy and challenge that we’re navigating as a family.

In the recent past, I found myself compelled to share a deeply personal experience. Two days after her birth, I was tragically separated from her, and this heart-wrenching event led me to an overwhelming emotional breakdown, which I could not hold back.

Months later, he acknowledged that the decision took an emotional toll on him, as he realized he hadn’t had the opportunity to bond with his daughter as an infant since they hadn’t spent time together during her early years.

During a conversation on Heart Breakfast, Olly admitted openly: “Leaving just two days after the birth of the newborn, for my tour with Take That, proved quite challenging for me.

He shared that he hadn’t fully understood it then, but several months later while talking with Amelia, he suddenly found himself tearing up because he had missed the opportunity to truly connect with the small child, whom he had never gotten to know properly.

Affirming his friend’s choice to prioritize work over family time, Mark said, “You were making these sacrifices for the sake of her future.

During his tours with Take That, Olly hurried back to his home in Essex straight from concerts to spend time with Amelia and Madison.

‘I’ve done the nappies, I’ve done the late nights and I can’t wait to stay on tour. 

I was just kidding! But seriously, she’s absolutely amazing. I never imagined myself becoming a father, so it still feels a bit surreal.
