Olivia Rodrigo reveals ‘very oddly specific question’ she asks guys on first dates
As a dedicated follower of pop culture and a long-time fan of Olivia Rodrigo, I must say that her unique approach to dating and her passion for her craft are truly captivating. Having grown up in the era of Sex and the City, I can’t help but appreciate her admiration for Carrie Bradshaw and Aidan Shaw. It’s refreshing to see such a young artist with such an old soul, blending the nostalgia of the past with the vibrancy of the present.
Prior to her current relationship, Olivia Rodrigo would often ask an unusual, precise question to evaluate potential suitors during their initial meeting.
As a space enthusiast myself, I often inquire about their thoughts on venturing into the cosmos, which I shared during a recent interview with Netflix, as documented in a video they published last Friday.
If they agree, I don’t pursue relationships with them. To me, if someone aspires to travel to space, they might come off as somewhat arrogant since I find that ambition a bit odd.
In the very same conversation, Olivia confessed that having an actor, such as her partner of a year, Louis Partridge from Disclaimer fame, as her boyfriend is indeed a clever choice. (Wink)
In August 2022, Rodrigo concluded a six-month romance with DJ/producer Zack Bia, following a seven-month relationship with the producer of Proof of Love, Adam Faze, which ended in February 2022.
It has been reported that the Grammy award-winning artist drew inspiration for her popular 2021 song “Drivers License” from a romantic entanglement involving herself, Joshua Bassett (the star of High School Musical: The Musical – The Series), and Sabrina Carpenter.
During her Guts World Tour, Olivia displayed her beloved tank tops, among which was one featuring the phrase ‘Carrie Bradshaw Style.’
Rodrigo excitedly shared that he donned it at Madison Square Garden, right here in New York City, during the run of the HBO show which ended in 2004, a year following his birth.
‘I love Sex and the City so much! It’s my favorite. Thank you, Miss Carrie Bradshaw.’
When asked about favoring either Mr. Big (Chris Noth) or Aidan (John Corbett), the passionate singer responded nonchalantly: “Aidan, of course! To be honest, Mr. Big leaves much to be desired, but we’ve all dated men like him before. It’s hard to let go, but yes, Aidan takes the cake!
In the second season, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) continues to harbor feelings for the passive-aggressive furniture designer, even though he requested a five-year hiatus from their relationship during that same season, and he was written off in Max’s continuation And Just Like That.
Born in California, Olivia was advertising her concert movie titled “Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour,” which made its debut on Netflix last Tuesday.
Rodrigo, with approximately 49.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, wrapped up the 97-date Guts World Tour, which grossed $186.6 million, on October 22nd.

95 performances, spanning across 22 different nations, and a couple of identical ink designs were part of the enthusiastic remarks made by the Filipino-American beauty, who boasts an impressive 79.4 million followers on her social media platforms.
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to tour the globe, performing these songs alongside an exceptional band of musicians. This journey will forever hold a special place in my heart, filled with cherished memories. A big thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and joined me in singing, cheering, and dancing. It has been an immense privilege to share these moments with all of you.
During her Guts World Tour, Olivia chose to contribute a part of every ticket sale to Fund 4 Good – a fresh endeavor she launched for empowering women, young girls, and individuals advocating for reproductive health rights worldwide.
