Over the weekend, Olivia Rodrigo was seen having dinner in Los Angeles with her parents, seemingly supported by them following her recent breakup with Louis Partridge.
Okay, so I was totally stalking online and saw pictures of her! She’s only 22, you guys, and even after everything with her ex – she was just ringing in the New Year with her friends, bless her – she was photographed leaving a restaurant with her parents. They looked like they were headed somewhere else, but honestly, I’m just obsessed with knowing where she went! It’s everything.
News surfaced late in December that Rodrigo and Partridge had broken up after dating for more than two years.
During the evening outing, the performer wore a chic and relaxed outfit: a black minidress with black loafers and white socks.
She carried a black purse over her shoulder and allowed her dark locks to flow down in light waves.
The former Disney Channel star kept her evening look simple, choosing to skip any noticeable jewelry or accessories.

People first noticed a connection between Rodrigo and Partridge in October 2023 when they were spotted together in London.
A few months later, the actor from House of Guinness was there to support the singer at Z100’s Jingle Ball concert. They also both went to a party after her performance on Saturday Night Live that same month.
Following a concert on her 2024 GUTS tour, Olivia Rodrigo was seen hugging a musician backstage in Chicago.
As their relationship blossomed, the two stars began appearing at many events together and occasionally shared sweet messages about each other online.
Last February, the former couple attended the Grammy Awards and were seen sitting close together.
The following month, they were seen at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, and later that summer, they shared a tender kiss at Wimbledon.
Last November, Rodrigo and Partridge attended the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony in Los Angeles.
Just a few months before news of their breakup became public, the actor had enthusiastically praised his relationship with the singer in an interview with Esquire UK.

He expressed confidence that they were both in the relationship for the right reasons, adding that achieving a certain level of success often requires such reflection, as he shared in a September 2025 interview.
It’s comforting to be able to share experiences with someone, and it eases your mind knowing you’re not alone, even when facing uncertainty. Having a friend by your side makes those times much easier.
He also mentioned how great they looked at Wimbledon and that they weren’t shy about showing affection in the stands.
I didn’t realize that event was going to happen. I saw a lot of pictures from it, and it seemed very public, which is different from what Olivia and I prefer. We’ve made a conscious choice to keep our lives more private.
She’s had a huge summer, especially with performing at Glastonbury, but she also values her privacy.
However, it came out last December that they had actually broken up a few weeks before that.
Also that month, Rodrigo was seen crying at Lily Allen’s Christmas party in London, where she confided in friends about the breakup.
People who knew them were surprised to hear about their split, as they seemed like a very happy couple.

‘It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now.’
According to a source, Olivia attended Lily’s party and became upset while discussing something. Her friends are supporting her, but she’s going through a difficult time right now, and it’s a very sad situation.
The Daily Mail contacted representatives for Rodrigo and Partridge, but hadn’t received a response by the time of publication.
The singer is doing well after the breakup and recently marked the fifth anniversary of her popular song, “Driver’s License,” with a post on Instagram.
The song appears on her 2021 album, Sour, which won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album.
She celebrated the 5-year anniversary of ‘drivers license’ by sharing old photos from when the song was made. In the caption, she wrote to her fans that looking back at the pictures makes her feel like a baby, but also like it was just yesterday.
‘This song has totally changed my life in ways I still can’t totally wrap my head around.’
Rodrigo shared a heartfelt birthday message, saying she’ll always cherish this special time and is excited to continue sharing joyful moments with her fans at every show. She ended with a ‘happy birthday’ to DL.

In 2023, Olivia Rodrigo released her second album, Guts, following up on the success of Sour. Guts also earned her two Grammy nominations.
Rodrigo revealed last year that she’s working on a new album, and it will sound quite different from anything she’s released before.
She told Elle it felt different now, explaining that she’s older and feels more experienced.
She shared that her experiences touring and performing live were incredibly valuable. They helped her understand her artistic identity, refine her musical direction, and decide what kind of music she wanted to share with audiences. She’s now using those insights as she begins working on her next album.
