It’s possible that Olivia Rodrigo and actor Louis Partridge have taken their relationship to a new level, having been together for two years now.

On a Sunday afternoon, Rodrigo was leisurely walking along a street in Los Angeles, holding hands with their partner. The attention of many passersby was drawn to the large, sparkling diamond ring adorning Rodrigo’s ring finger, which signified an upcoming wedding.

Although the young singer and her British partner, who are both 22 years old, haven’t spoken publicly about his proposal, there’s a buzz in Hollywood regarding her stunning new piece of jewelry.

The excursion on Sunday comes after the couple’s noticeably affectionate behavior at Wimbledon, where they were spotted passionately locking lips in the stands only a month ago.

Additionally, it fuels the buzz among fans that Rodrigo might be referencing Partridge in her popular 2023 song titled ‘So American’.

She sings: ‘Oh God, I’m gonna marry him / If he keeps this s**t up.’ 

At the Glastonbury music festival in June, Rodrigo playfully hinted at a popular fan theory during her performance, stating: ‘Here’s something important about me – I’m crazy about England! I adore England so much. Not only that, but I also have a soft spot for English men. In fact, the song I’m about to perform is inspired by a boy from England who loves beans on a jacket potato. I took all our shared humor and turned it into a tune called “So American”.’

Jewelry expert, Anya Walsh, estimates Rodrigo’s new stone is ‘approximately 3.5 to 4 carats.’

In the year 2023, during October, Rodrigo and Partridge garnered attention as a pair when they were seen together in their shared hometown of London for the first time.

During an October 2024 interview with Elle magazine, Partridge humorously evaded queries regarding the possibility that Rodrigo’s song “So American” might be about him.

At the time, he laughed and said, ‘Not my song, not my place. So I wouldn’t know.’

To be completely honest, I’ve been absolutely captivated by the music scene lately. And let me tell you, my obsession with it all began when Rodrigo came along.
