Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge seemed very much in love while having fun at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood.
During their spooky date on Monday, 22-year-old singer Billie Eilish stayed close to her actor boyfriend, who is also 22, as they experienced the haunted attractions.
Rodrigo dressed comfortably and stylishly for their date, wearing a black-and-white striped sweater, loose-fitting jeans, and a black baseball cap. The cap featured the logo of Interscope, the record label that released her popular albums, Sour and Guts.
The Grammy-winning artist, who has already started recording her next album, finished her outfit with a cream-colored Celine crossbody bag and a denim jacket casually tied around her waist.
Partridge went with a relaxed look, wearing a brown zip-up sweatshirt over a white t-shirt and comfortable jeans.
It was clear the couple had a strong connection. They shared playful smiles, laughed together, and strolled through the park holding hands.
Rodrigo looked sweetly surprised and covered her mouth when two clowns walking on stilts came near. Noah stood close to her, as if to shield her.
Oh my gosh, even when things were absolutely terrifying, I noticed they kept finding these little moments together! Like, they’d sneak off and just *whisper* to each other, and then burst into these adorable little giggles. It was so sweet, even with everything else going on, you could just *feel* the connection between them. I was completely obsessed with capturing every glance!
The duo later descended an escalator still hand-in-hand, clearly unfazed by the crowds around them.
Rodrigo and Partridge first gained public attention as a couple in October 2023 when they were seen together in London, Rodrigo’s home city.
During an interview with Elle magazine in October 2024, Partridge jokingly avoided directly answering questions about whether Olivia Rodrigo’s song, “So American,” was inspired by him.
At the time, he laughed and said, ‘Not my song, not my place. So I wouldn’t know.’
He also mentioned that his girlfriend, Rodrigo, has been expanding his musical horizons. He said he’s been listening to Chappell Roan a lot lately, thanks to her influence.
Partridge described his ideal relationship style as being like a golden retriever – friendly, relaxed, and very devoted.
He described feeling like he processed things more slowly than his past partners. He explained it by saying he was like a Golden Retriever – happy and content with simple pleasures, like playing fetch – while they were more like a quick, sleek black cat.
In April 2024, he spoke again on the relationship, this time to British Vogue.
He admitted her situation was much more difficult than his own. He felt he could still live a relatively normal life, but she was under intense public scrutiny.
It’s generally best to keep dating private. Relationships are complicated enough without adding the opinions of others into the mix.
Last month, he raved about Rodrigo during an interview with Esquire UK.
He expressed confidence that they were both in the relationship for genuine reasons. He added that achieving a certain level of success makes you consider those things. It’s comforting, he explained, to have someone by your side at events, so you’re not facing uncertainty alone. Having a friend there makes all the difference.
The British celebrity finally addressed the affectionate public display with his partner at Wimbledon, where they were photographed kissing passionately while watching the matches.
I didn’t realize that event would get so much attention. I saw a lot of pictures, and it felt very public, which is different from how Olivia and I prefer to live our lives. She’s had a busy summer, especially with Glastonbury, but we both value keeping our personal lives private.
Before dating Jennifer Lawrence, Partridge was in a relationship with actress Sydney Chandler. They met while working together on the FX show, Pistol.
Olivia has previously dated record producer, Zack Bia, and actors Ethan Wacker and Ethan Wacker.
