Olivia Rodrigo blends in with the locals as she goes make-up free on her day off in Melbourne – ahead of first Australian dates for Guts World Tour
As an ardent fan of Olivia Rodrigo, I am beyond thrilled to see her stepping foot on Australian soil for her very first tour Down Under! Her unique blend of heartfelt lyrics and catchy tunes has resonated deeply with my life experiences, offering solace during some of my most turbulent times.
Olivia Rodrigo has arrived in Australia ahead of her first ever tour dates Down Under.
On a much-needed break on a Tuesday, I found myself sauntering around the vibrant streets of Melbourne, the charming city in the Australian state of Victoria. As an ardent fan, it was surreal to breathe the same air as my beloved American pop idol.
Instead of going for her typical glamorous style, the 21-year-old chose a casual appearance for her laid-back excursion, foregoing heavy makeup to showcase her natural charm.
On that crisp city day full of trend, the vocalist chose to stay cozy in a black puffy coat draped over a cropped top.
She added a pair of skintight leggings and white socks along with maroon patent loafers.
Olivia pushed her hair away from her face, wore sunglasses perched on top of her head, and carried a stylish bag slung over one shoulder.
The hitmaker was with a posse of pals, the group chatting happily as they played tourists in the hip town.
The group had a wander around seeing the sights before sitting down for a lunch date together.
In just a few days, Olivia will be making her debut on Australian soil as part of her Guts World Tour.
Earlier this year, I, a die-hard fan, couldn’t contain my excitement when the triple Grammy-winning artist shared on social media that they were back on! After previously cancelling a promotional trip, it seemed like their much-anticipated return was finally here.
As your go-to lifestyle advisor, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news for all Rodrigo fans! He’s set to perform an Australian tour, gracing Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on the 9th and 10th of October, followed by Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on the 17th and 18th. Don’t miss out on this incredible experience!
On the Australian tour, the skilled New Zealand singer-songwriter Benee will be performing alongside Rodrigo and opening all of the concerts.
The tour is connected to Rodrigo’s second highly praised studio album titled “Guts,” which has earned six Grammy nominations across categories like Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
She has performed at several well-known arenas for her inaugural concert tour, such as Madison Square Garden in New York City and The O2 in London.
A part of the income generated by Rodrigo’s ticket sales is earmarked for Olivia Rodrigo’s Charity for a Better World, an organization dedicated to financing projects promoting girls’ education, women’s reproductive rights, and combating gender-based aggression.
Last September, the American singer had scheduled numerous media appearances to publicize her second album. Unfortunately, these engagements were all called off because of unexpected events that arose.
A representative from Universal Music Australia shared that Olivia is deeply disappointed that she can’t attend, but she’s incredibly enthusiastic about meeting her Australian fans again in the year 2024.
