Olivia Rogers, who was once Miss Universe, has shared that she was very worried about losing her baby shortly after finding out she was pregnant.
The 33-year-old beauty queen shared that she’s expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Hugo Breakey, calling the news a ‘miracle.’ She announced the happy news on Monday.
Olivia, currently 14 weeks pregnant, discussed the emotional challenges she faced while trying to conceive on her Tell Me More podcast.
‘We’re very happy, and very grateful, it’s a miracle,’ she said in Tuesday’s episode.
Oh my god, she said it was terrifying! She kept thinking, ‘Please let this be real, please don’t let me lose this baby!’ She was so scared it wouldn’t happen, especially in those first few weeks, that she wouldn’t even let herself get her hopes up. She was trying to protect herself from being heartbroken, you know? It was just…so relatable! I totally get it.
Olivia shared in 2023 that she decided to freeze her eggs after having difficulty getting pregnant naturally during her marriage to Justin McKeone.
She explained that many of her female followers can relate to her experience of being single in their thirties and wondering if they’ll ever find a partner.
‘And then making the decision about whether or not you freeze your eggs. And that is all so hard.’
She shared the happy news with her followers on Instagram on Monday.
Olivia and Hugo shared a photo from a photo booth showing them with a baby scan, posing for a series of fun pictures.
Oh my gosh, you guys, the photos are EVERYTHING! There was this amazing shot of them beaming, just absolutely glowing with happiness, and then… THEN there was this incredibly sweet picture of them kissing, right behind the ultrasound screen! I seriously can’t even handle the cuteness! It’s like, a perfect moment captured forever, and I’m living for it!
On her second slide, the 33-year-old former Miss Universe posted a picture of her baby’s ultrasound alongside a cup of coffee decorated with a heart-shaped design in the foam.
She announced the happy news with a post, sharing that she’s expecting a baby.
‘We can’t wait for May 2026.’
She also posted a video showing her reaction to finding out she was pregnant, captured right after she took a pregnancy test.
Olivia revealed her relationship with her boyfriend last June, when they both went to the premiere of Beauty and the Beast in Melbourne.
Former Miss Universe Australia separated from her husband, Justin, in October 2022, only eight months after they got married.
The Adelaide–born model addressed her break–up on social media in October 2022.
After months of marriage, Olivia made the difficult decision to leave Justin, following conversations with her therapist where she admitted her true feelings.
The pair got engaged in 2019, but their wedding was postponed due to the Covid pandemic.
The wedding took place in February 2022 at Terindah Estate, a beautiful location on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria.
