Olivia Molly Rogers finally breaks her silence on bitter feud with former stylist ‘bestie’ Paul Versace

Olivia Molly Rogers recently spoke up about the apparent conflict with her ex-closest friend and stylist, Paul Versace.

The duo used to be inseparable, with the ex-Miss Universe Australia, aged 33, frequently attending events alongside the fashion expert, taking luxurious vacations together, and inviting him as a guest on her podcast, “Tell Me More.

In a surprising turn of events, Paul, aged 31, not only participated in the game of matchmaking by introducing Olivia to both her former partner Morgan Waterhouse and her current beau Hugo Breakey; however, it appears that the strong friendship among these individuals has now reached its conclusion.

Olivia took to Instagram on Wednesday to answer a fan’s question about the pair’s relationship.

Responding, Olivia admitted their parting of ways was due to geography.

She mentioned that during her Q&A sessions, many questions come her way, as we’ve spent considerable time interacting in the past.

‘So, just to address it gently – he moved to Sydney and we are not working together any more.’ 

Olivia subtly suggested at the end of her post that there might have been some tension or conflict in their relationship.

‘Sometimes friendships shift, but I will always wish him nothing but the best,’ she added.

In September 2024, the fashion model, Olivia, was last spotted on Paul’s business Instagram account, Styled By Bloom, even though they both continue to follow each other personally on Instagram.

Usually, you could find these friends mingling at significant Melbourne gatherings such as Melbourne Fashion Week and the F1 Glamour on the Grid, collaborating to create stunning ensembles for each occasion.

It seems that Olivia has brought on a new stylist for her recent red-carpet events this year.

Last week, during his vacation in Japan, Paul removed any evidence of Olivia from his personal Instagram page.

Currently, there are photos of Paul on Olivia’s profile, the most recent one dated back to June of last year. Interestingly, she kept tagging his fashion account as late as September.

It’s been suggested that the recent disagreement between them might be connected to Olivia’s breakup with her former partner Morgan, since he was also acquainted with Paul, who brought Olivia and Paul together back in early 2023.

Yet, the situation remains unclear since Paul introduced Olivia to her present partner, Hugo, shortly after their breakup with Morgan, which occurred in December 2023, marking the end of a seven-month relationship.

Discussing the rift that occurred between friends in March, the hosts of the Outspoken podcast, Amy, Sophie, and Kate Tauber, suggested that Molly’s separation from Morgan was likely the cause for their falling out.

In the context of a break-up, I initially aim for friendship with all parties involved. However, there comes a time when such an arrangement becomes unfeasible.

They then questioned: ‘Perhaps he has picked Morgan over Olivia?’

Last July, during an Instagram Q&A with fans, Olivia disclosed that her encounter with Hugo was facilitated by Paul.

When someone inquired about how the lovebirds got together, Olivia gladly shared: “I absolutely adore our meeting story, so I’d be more than happy to explain it for you.

‘It was out at a bar in Melbourne. My stylist Paul spotted him on the dance floor and went over.

He remarked, “You’re quite good-looking, by the way, are you currently unattached? I might just know a wonderful woman for you.” Afterward, he instructed him to remain where he was.

‘P came and grabbed me, pulled me over and put me in front of him.

According to Paul’s account, “Hearts filled with love seemed to be floating in the sky everywhere you two looked.” Thus, we can say that Paul is an exceptional companion.

Paul’s description suggests that “Love hearts were floating in the sky for you both to see all around.” This shows that Paul is a fantastic wingman.
