Olivia Holt liked one of her unique Jingle Bell Heist disguises so much that she took it home

Get ready for Jingle Bell Heist, coming to Netflix this Wednesday! It’s part of the platform’s new lineup of Christmas movies, but with a fun twist – it’s also a heist movie! Expect all the classic heist elements like surprising reveals and characters in disguise, alongside plenty of holiday cheer.

Olivia Holt, the star of the show, recently told Digital Spy that she loved the disguises used during filming so much, she took one home with her. Her co-star, Connor Swindells, didn’t realize cast members were allowed to keep any of the props.

Honestly, we did so many fittings! Michael [Fimognari, the director] had us try on everything, and we all really loved the masked look. I was a huge fan – we all were! I even took my mask home with me; I always like to keep little souvenirs from set.

Swindells said, sounding surprised, “You didn’t mention this, did you? Why not? I would have gladly accepted it if I’d known I could.”

Sophia and Nick, characters in Holt and Swindells’ story, wear fun, festive balaclavas during their daring robbery. Curious about the masks? You can see a picture below and judge for yourself if they’re something you’d like to own.

Naturally, Jingle Bell Heist blends a heist story with a romantic comedy, fitting right into Netflix’s holiday lineup. The movie centers around Sophia and Nick, who develop feelings for each other while planning a robbery at a famous London department store.

Swindells was pleased that the two actors seemed to connect immediately, which was fortunate considering they only had a few weeks to practice before filming began.

Holt said they all shared a clear vision for how the characters should feel and behave. He recalled feeling confident and satisfied with their work even after the first day of filming.

The story truly came together when we developed Sophia and Nick’s characters. Understanding them both as a couple and as individuals was crucial to the process.

Jingle Bell Heist is released on Netflix on 26 November.
