Like many movies on Channel 4, Murder on the Orient Express won’t be available forever. You have 26 days to watch it before it’s removed and you’ll need to rent or buy it elsewhere.

Currently, Disney+ is the only streaming service that has all the sequels available, unless you prefer to purchase or rent them elsewhere.

Although the film features a well-known cast, reviews are quite varied. On Rotten Tomatoes, viewers gave it a 54% approval rating based on over 25,000 votes, while critics gave it a 60% score after 300 reviews.

According to Slashfilm, the acting is excellent and the film is visually stunning. Whether you notice its weaknesses really depends on how much you’re willing to accept its sincerity – something that’s as noticeable as director Kenneth Branagh’s prominent mustache.

The BBC complimented the show’s stunning visuals, but noted that despite a strong cast and interesting characters, some actors weren’t given enough to do.

While some remakes try too hard to appeal to modern audiences, the Detroit News praised Kenneth Branagh’s version as a loving tribute to the original. They described it as a worthwhile and classic experience, saying it feels like a delightful trip back in time.

Murder on the Orient Express is available to stream on Channel 4 or Disney+.
