Honestly, it was tough going through my first Valentine’s Day after splitting from Bradley, but I definitely coped by indulging in a bit of retail therapy. It really helped me get through it, you know?
I was so saddened to hear that my favorite presenter and her husband are divorcing. She publicly shared last month that she’s ending their three-year marriage. It seems like there was a serious issue of trust with him, and honestly, it breaks my heart to see it end this way.
Olivia revealed details about her day while chatting with her friend Pete Wicks on their radio show, The Sunday Roast, after Pete admitted he’d spent the day relaxing at home with pizza.
Honestly, I was so upset, and Olivia said she felt the same. She actually went to Selfridges that morning – she said she just needed to buy something to make herself feel a little better. She didn’t do anything to cause whatever happened either, just needed a little retail therapy, apparently!
Former TOWIE star Pete, 37, then probed the Filthy Rich host on what she bought for herself.
She replied, saying it wasn’t anything special. She was a bit disappointed, and to make matters worse, Selfridges was incredibly crowded with couples.
I just wanted to escape. I’ve never been a huge fan of Valentine’s Day, but what I really wanted to do was watch the movie ‘Wuthering Heights’ on that day.
They then talked about how ASDA had started using red shopping baskets, replacing their usual green ones, as a way for customers to signal they were willing to chat.
Olivia said it ‘would be her worst nightmare to be approached in a supermarket’.
She recently shared with her fans that this was her first Valentine’s Day alone in about ten years, since she was fourteen.
Oh my gosh, Olivia just posted! It said ‘Happy Valentine’s Day my cherubs, I love you all so much x.’ Seriously, she calls us her cherubs! And then… she admitted she’s spending Valentine’s Day alone for the first time in ages – since she was fourteen! Can you believe it? But of course, being the queen she is, she treated herself to some retail therapy. Obvs. I’m living for this, honestly!
She’s been open about how difficult her breakup has been, explaining that keeping herself occupied has been essential for her well-being.
Olivia shared a heartfelt video on social media with the message, ‘I always need to keep busy to feel alright’.
Since news of her breakup with Bradley became public, she’s reportedly been working incredibly hard and dedicating all her effort to her job.
In addition to hosting the Olivia’s House podcast and her radio show on KISS FM with Pete Wicks, she’s been busy filming a new season of her documentary, Getting Filthy Rich, and is excited about her recent partnership with Garnier.
Despite recent troubles in her marriage, she appeared cheerful Thursday night when she was announced as the new spokesperson for the skincare brand at a party held at The Newman Hotel. She was seen leaving with Pete and friends early Friday morning.
Just a week before, the actress, who had recently ended a relationship, shared that she was staying busy by exercising frequently and working on many film projects to take her mind off things.
She shared a sneak peek of her upcoming ITV show, ‘The Heat,’ on Instagram. Joking about being busy with work, she wrote, ‘Remember when I said things were hectic? Well, here’s the new show – and you won’t want to miss it!’
Olivia publicly acknowledged her breakup with Bradley, sharing a heartfelt message online. She admitted feeling lost about what to post, joking that she’s not comfortable with vulnerability, particularly on social media, which she described as a risky and exposing environment.
For a long time now, I’ve been going through a cycle of crying myself to sleep, only to wake up at 5 am and pretend everything is fine. It’s a pattern that’s been repeating for a while.
She went on, explaining that the rapid pace of change was really bothering her – she’s not a fan of things changing quickly. She hadn’t anticipated ending up living in the new apartment by herself, and admitted she felt overwhelmed and out of her depth.
I’m focusing on finding happiness, and I hope Brad is too. We’re taking things one day at a time, for our own well-being and for anyone else who might need a little encouragement.
‘Normal programming and chatting will resume asap. Ps thank you, I feel your love immensely.’
