Olivia Attwood lauds husband Bradley Dack in emotional birthday tribute – months after overcoming marital strife

Olivia Attwood marked the new year and her husband Bradley Dack‘s birthday with a heartfelt message, following a difficult period for their marriage.

The 34-year-old Love Island star shared a sweet message on Instagram Wednesday, celebrating her husband’s 32nd birthday. He’s a footballer who plays for Gillingham, and she posted the message the night before his team played against Swindon Town.

Sharing a photo of her partner relaxing in bed, she mentioned his birthday celebrations would be low-key because of his upcoming game, writing: ‘Happy birthday [honey pot emoji]. So glad you were born…’

Thanks for letting me celebrate so many birthdays with you! Everyone who knows you loves you, and it’s easy to see why. Let’s try to get together and celebrate soon, but you need to be in bed by 9 tonight, haha!

The couple recently admitted they’ve been through a lot of challenges in their relationship, especially with a recent move and her demanding career.

Last month, Olivia poked fun at rumours surrounding her marriage.

On Sunday, the celebrity posted a funny video on Instagram inspired by a famous scene from the 2009 episode of Gossip Girl. The scene features Jason Derulo’s song “Watcha Say” playing as characters’ secrets are revealed, causing them to each leave a gathering one by one.

Olivia shared funny videos of her family leaving the dinner table, adding humorous captions to each one.

As the camera focused on Bradley, a message appeared on screen asking if he and Olivia were divorcing. He immediately walked away, looking upset.

Although the couple often make light of the gossip surrounding them, Olivia recently admitted their relationship has been challenging. She explained that both she and Brad have made mistakes and faced difficulties, saying, ‘We’ve both messed up at times, and there have been issues on both sides.’

Olivia posted a funny video on Instagram of herself at a table, with a caption jokingly asking if someone was going to go easy on the wine. She pointed out they weren’t at Freedom Bar, a popular late-night spot in Soho.

Her dad, Kai, jokingly threatened to film her for TikTok as he left the table. Her mom, Jennifer, playfully pointed out she was drinking prosecco, not champagne, and her sister, Georgia, teased her about buying yet another horse.

People praised Olivia for openly addressing the divorce rumors. One fan wrote, ‘This puts those rumors to rest – we love how self-aware she is!’

I was a little surprised to hear Olivia talk about her relationship with Bradley last month, but honestly, it felt really real. She basically said things have been tough, and she put it so simply – she just admitted that marriage is hard. It was a vulnerable thing to share, and I really appreciate her honesty.

In an Instagram question-and-answer session, she addressed a fan’s question about Brad, who hadn’t appeared on her social media recently.

She insisted he was still alive, reminding him they’d been together for ten years. She admitted things had changed a lot, and that marriage is incredibly difficult – something people don’t often talk about. She explained she simply couldn’t pretend otherwise.

I only want to share photos that show what our life is really like. We’re focused on our own path, and I’ll be sure to share any news with you as soon as we have it.

Okay, so I was reading this interview with Olivia, and she finally get it! She said she totally understands why the footballer was hurt seeing those pictures of her and Pete Wicks from the summer. It’s like, duh! He had every right to be upset, and she actually admitted that! I’m so glad she finally acknowledged his feelings, it just shows how amazing she is… even if she did hang out with Pete! I’ve been following this whole thing so closely, and this is a huge step!

Olivia confirmed that her relationship with Brad has its ups and downs, but they are still a couple. She also clarified that her connection with Pete is purely professional and platonic – they’re simply good friends and coworkers.

She explained that she and Brad don’t try to portray a perfect relationship, and they’ve experienced many highs and lows. She added that the past six months have been particularly difficult for them.

Our work is the most important thing, and we constantly have to balance it with our relationship.
