As someone who’s followed relationship dynamics for years, I’ve learned that trust is everything. It’s really sad to hear Olivia Attwood share that, throughout her decade-long relationship with Bradley Dack, she experienced multiple instances of infidelity. It just highlights how damaging those breaches of trust can be, even in a long-term connection.
The 34-year-old reality star publicly addressed the news on Instagram Tuesday that her marriage to the 31-year-old footballer was not legally valid, expressing her disappointment and hurt.
According to the Daily Mail, Olivia and her husband never officially registered their marriage. Sources say she decided against a legal marriage after discovering some dishonesty.
Olivia has now revealed what she believes are false claims about her ex, stating they accuse him of lying and cheating throughout their ten-year, on-again, off-again relationship. She says she now feels foolish.
The TV star said she didn’t intentionally mislead anyone about the wedding rumors, and she’s confirmed she’s now dating Pete Wicks.
Olivia was seen sharing a kiss with Pete, age 37, at a bar in London’s Soho district on Friday night. This came after she and Bradley split up back in January.
Olivia shared that she’s supported Brad for the past decade, even though he repeatedly lied to and was unfaithful to her.
‘The breakdown of our relationship is because of this.
I loved him and believed in the person he could become, so for ten years I constantly tried to support him and help him improve. This meant making excuses for his behavior, deceiving my loved ones, arranging for him to get help, and repeatedly accepting his heartfelt apologies, even when they didn’t lead to lasting change.
I feel incredibly foolish, especially as more details emerge. I really didn’t want to have to share any of this, and the entire situation is deeply embarrassing.
This January, after someone on my team told me about another night he’d spent with a stranger, I knew it was time to quit.
‘I’m not losing my job, I’m not pulling the woold over anyone’s eyes. Yes I’m dating.
Honestly, it’s been rough. I’m pushing myself to get up every single day, even after nights I’ve spent just crying, just to do the work I love – filming, podcasting, radio, photoshoots… it’s a lot, and I’m trying to rebuild my life somewhere in between all of it.
Daily Mail has contacted Bradley’s representatives for comment.
Olivia rose to prominence on the 2017 season of the reality show Love Island. She was dating Bradley at the time, but she decided to appear on the show after finding out he was unfaithful.
Following a short-lived romance with Chris Hughes on the show, the television personality got back together with Bradley in 2019.
ITV created the show Olivia Meets Her Match, documenting the couple’s relationship from their 2020 engagement through what appeared to be their actual wedding in 2023.
