Old School JRPG Starlight Legacy Is Coming to Consoles in May

Eastasiasoft Limited has declared that the retro Role-Playing Game, Starlight Legacy, will become available for consoles on May 28th.

The game casts you as two characters, Ignus and Teryl, who embark on an adventure to rejuvenate the Eternity Tree following a series of mishaps. This is typical role-playing game material, and the retro pixel art with Mode 7 enhancements fits perfectly with the concept.

Check out the trailer below. The description reads:

Experience Starlight Legacy, a game that harks back to the style of 16-bit JRPGs. This non-linear adventure takes inspiration from genre greats, set in the Evaria Kingdom of a post-medieval world. Traverse a sprawling kingdom brimming with beautiful 2D pixel art, immerse yourself in a nostalgic turn-based combat system, and unravel a tale that allows you to explore the four provinces of the kingdom at your own pace, in any order you choose.

The game titled “Starlight Legacy” will be released on the 28th of May, available for play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and on personal computers.
