I’m thrilled beyond words! Finally, Capcom has made the announcement we fans have been waiting for: Okami 2 is officially in development! The one and only Hideki Kamiya is returning to the helm as director, this time with his innovative team at Clovers. This news just makes my day!
It’s quite fitting, since Clover Studio, the original creator of the first game, is back, and fans have been eagerly waiting for a new installment of Okami for years. It seems like the wolf goddess Amaterasu makes her grand return, as does the beautiful watercolor art style.
Below, you can find a brief yet charming sneak peek at the anticipated sequel to Okami, often referred to as Okami 2 among fans. Although we may not get to play it soon, the fact that it’s coming is exciting enough for the moment.
