OG announces new roster for upcoming qualifiers

As a seasoned Dota 2 gamer with over a decade of playing under my belt, I must say that the recent roster changes at OG have left me both intrigued and a bit nostalgic. Timado, who joined as a substitute last year and showed some promising performances, has decided to move on to greener pastures. And bzm, a key player since 2021 with the major-winner title under his belt, is currently inactive.

Official announcement: OG’s upcoming lineup includes players 23savage and Nine, who will compete in the next qualifying rounds. Previously active members Timado and bzm are no longer part of the team.

For the forthcoming BBDacha and DreamLeague qualifiers, OG has unveiled its revamped lineup. This significant shift in their roster signifies major changes that OG is undertaking as they gear up for the 2024-2025 season.

Timado and bzm left the OG active roster

In May of 2024, Enzo “Timado” Gianoli joined the team OG as a replacement player and participated in various top-tier competitions. At ESL One Birmingham 2024, he placed fourth. On September 21, 2024, he decided to depart from OG and join Shopify Rebellion instead.

Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov has been an important member of OG since 2021, having won a major title with them. Yet, as of Sep.22, 2024, his status with the team is listed as inactive. OG has yet to announce when he may become active again or if he will rejoin the main roster at some point in the future.

The new roster of OG for 2024-2025

OG has restructured their lineup, bringing in both new faces and familiar veterans. As rumored, Nuengnara “23” Teeramahanon (also known as 23savage) joined OG after leaving Aurora. Leon “Nine” Kirilin, the TI11 champion mid-laner previously from Tundra Esports, also returns to the mid role. Adrián “Wisper” Dobles, Matthew “Ari” Walker, and Sébastien “Ceb” Debs will continue with the team.

The full OG roster for next qualifiers is:

  1. Nuengnara “23” Teeramahanon
  2. Leon “Nine” Kirilin
  3. Adrián “Wisper” Dobles
  4. Matthew “Ari” Walker
  5. Sébastien “Ceb” Debs

The future of OG

The upcoming lineup of OG will make its first appearance in the BBDacha and DreamLeague qualifying rounds. It’s important to note that this is not their definitive team for the entire year, as changes can occur at any moment.
