Offset breaks his silence after being shot near Florida casino as Migos rapper hits back at rival Lil Tjay

Offset has spoken out for the first time since being shot near a Florida casino, responding to claims made by rapper Lil Tjay who accused him of being an informant.

Okay, so here’s what’s going on: I’m hearing that Offset, who’s 34, apparently caught wind of something posted by The Shade Room Teens. It seems Tjay, 24, said something to the press after being released from jail, and Offset saw the report about it.

Offset commented ‘U ain’t buss nun,’ a slang phrase meaning there’s not much happening or nothing new to report.

Following his release, Tjay recounted to reporters that the last thing he remembered seeing was Offset looking at him and repeatedly saying, ‘You shot me, you shot me!’

I didn’t participate in any fighting. The idea that I shot someone is ridiculous. I’m willing to physically confront Offset.

‘He would never play like that with me in his life. Ask Offset.’

Okay, so I’ve been following everything, and honestly, it’s crazy! Apparently, the police are saying Lil Tjay is the one who started the whole thing that ended with Offset getting shot! Like, they’re claiming he’s the reason the fight even happened. I can’t believe it, but that’s what I’m seeing everywhere. It’s just…wild.

Police say that Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Merritt, allegedly told people with him to start a fight with another group around 7:22 p.m. on Monday, according to documents obtained by the Daily Mail.

According to police, a member of Lil Tjay’s group shot Offset with a gun while they were in the valet parking area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Offset, Lil Tjay, the Seminole Police, and the Broward County Sheriff’s Department, but has not yet received a response.

On Tuesday, Lil Tjay’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, refuted rumors claiming he was involved in a shooting.

A representative clarified that Lil Tjay was not shot and hasn’t been charged with any shooting offenses. Reports claiming otherwise are inaccurate.

TMZ first reported on the contents of the probable cause affidavit.

Lil Tjay was arrested for disorderly conduct involving a public fight, according to a statement from the Seminole Police Department. This is considered a minor offense, and he was processed at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

Police stated that a second person who was held at the scene hasn’t been charged. They also confirmed that the investigation is still underway to find anyone else who may have been involved.

Police stated that the person injured, Offset, is currently at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

After he was bailed out on Tuesday, Lil Tjay denied being involved in the alleged fight.

Police reports suggest that Lil Tjay was involved in a fight with people connected to Offset after he was shot, according to court documents.

According to statements from the victims, they were helping their injured friend, Offset, when Lil Tjay came at them aggressively, swinging his fists.

It was only when police arrived that the fight allegedly stopped, the report said.

The defendant started a fight in public, which frightened people and led to someone being injured, while also putting others at risk of harm, according to court documents.

According to police, Lil Tjay was recording the argument on his phone right before the shooting involving Offset.

A spokesperson for Offset previously confirmed that he had been shot in the altercation.

According to reports to the Daily Mail, he was shot and is now hospitalized, where he is receiving treatment. His condition is stable, and doctors are keeping a close watch on him.

Offset, who is going through a divorce from Cardi B after six years of marriage, was seen in a wheelchair outside the hospital on Tuesday morning while taking a break to smoke.
