Official Look at the Song for the Mute x adidas SFTM-009 Samba Friezeit

Okay, so I’m really excited about this new release! It’s a collaboration between Song for the Mute and adidas Originals – they’re dropping a Samba Friezeit. It comes in two colorways: black and brown. You can find it under the SKUs KI4761 and KI4762. They haven’t announced the price yet, but it’s scheduled to drop on May 8th. You’ll be able to snag a pair directly from Song for the Mute and adidas!

Song for the Mute and adidas are teaming up again, this time with a new collection called “007” that includes clothing and shoes. A key piece is the SFTM‑009 Samba Freizeit – a modern take on a classic leather shoe. It updates the iconic Samba with a relaxed, everyday feel and launches in two stylish colors: black and brown.

These shoes come in black or brown tumbled leather, with contrasting off-white stripes. They’re built to be durable but still have a sleek, high-end look. Subtle details like co-branding and gold eyelets add a touch of luxury, and the branding on the tongue is kept minimal, in line with Song for the Mute’s style. The upper features a unique textured pattern inspired by solar panels. They combine fashion and practicality with a sturdy, lugged sole and matching laces, making them ideal for everyday wear and giving a nod to workwear influences.

The SFTM-009 Samba Freizeit, along with the broader “007” collection, will debut exclusively through Song for the Mute on May 8, 2026. A wider global release via adidas and select retailers will follow on May 15, 2026.
