As a long-time fan of Chicago PD, I’ve seen my fair share of stormy nights and murky investigations. But the upcoming episode 5 of season 12 has me particularly intrigued! The rainstorm, while challenging for the police, seems to bring Officer Cook right back into the fold of Intelligence.

In the upcoming episode 5 of Chicago PD’s season 12, it seems Officer Cook may not immediately join Intelligence, but there are hints that suggest this could happen soon. While the promo doesn’t reveal much, the synopsis suggests a setup for her transition to the team.

In the upcoming sixth episode, we’ll see Intelligence welcoming its newest team member. While we’ve previously encountered Cook, our acquaintance was limited to just one episode. This particular episode held a heavy emotional weight as Ruzek was intensely engaged in locating a missing boy following Martel’s demise. When gunfire erupted, Cook sprang into action, assisting Ruzek promptly.

As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the moment when Cook encounters Intelligence once more. This time around, I can’t wait to see how their relationship unfolds, as I know that Cook will be seeking Intelligence’s guidance and assistance.

A rainstorm and a murder in Chicago PD season 12, episode 4

In the upcoming episode, a massive downpour is anticipated, posing challenges for the law enforcement officers. Since the heavy rain could swiftly erase crucial evidence, it’s imperative that everyone gets busy right away.

A corpse surfaces in the water, leaving the investigative team with few leads. Yet, Detective Torres spots a woman nearby who may hold crucial information for unraveling the mystery behind the incident.

The summary provides some additional details about Cook. When they receive a call, she and her partner react. Yet, they have a disagreement regarding an investigation, causing Cook to seek help from the Intelligence Unit to clarify the situation. It seems that she will demonstrate her skills, eventually leading Voight to propose a spot on the team for her.
