Octomom’s Daughter Secretly Tracked Down Her Biological Father on Facebook

It turns out, Natalie ‘Nadya’ Suleman, also known as Octomom, was unaware that her daughter had traced their biological father through Facebook and initiated contact with him.

On the latest installment of “Confessions of Octomom,” airing on Lifetime, it was Amerah, aged 22 and the 49-year-old’s daughter, who shared a surprising disclosure.

Previously, Suleman had openly discussed her long-term aspiration of raising a substantial family on her own. To achieve this goal, she intended to utilize sperm donated by two individuals – one whom she was acquainted with and another who remained anonymous, having been sourced from a sperm bank – in order to conceive all 14 of her children.

16-year-old octuplets of Suleman are Noah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Josiah, Makai, Maliyah, and Nariyah. His older children include Amerah, Elijah (23 years old), Joshua (21), Aidan (19), and twins Caleb and Calyssa who are also 16 years old.

In the most recent installment, she discussed her children’s experiences of being raised by a single parent, as well as their curiosity about identifying their biological father.

Amerah revealed, ‘I discovered him on Facebook when I was around 12 years old. I did contact him secretly, something my mother didn’t know about. Eventually, my biological father got in touch with my mom through her best friend.’

My mother advised me, saying, “If you wish to meet him when you turn eighteen, go ahead and make contact. He’s eager to get to know you, so feel free to reach out whenever you’re comfortable with it.

‘But after then, I never felt the need to,’ she added.

In my perspective as a lifestyle expert, let me clarify: It’s not that I feel compelled to build a relationship with him; rather, we haven’t had the opportunity to connect because he’s a stranger to me. However, I recognize his significance in my mother’s life, for he was a dear friend to her before certain circumstances led him to step away from ours.

The ‘eight’ Amerah referenced were the world’s first surviving octuplets, born to Suleman in 2009.

She had previously conceived six children, including two sets of twins, using a friend’s sperm.

While Amerah was curious about her father, not all her siblings felt the same.

‘I was personally never interested in who my biological father was,’ her brother Joshua shared.

She told me that the person was a friend of hers, specifically a benefactor. That was enough information for me.

Jonah mentioned that when he was around six or seven years old, he noticed other children had fathers and asked his mother if they had one too. His mother explained that they didn’t have a father in the traditional sense, as she had conceived with the help of a donor instead.

Maliyah added, ‘He’s just a frozen donor that we don’t know at all.’

In response to being asked about not having a male role model, octupus Nariyah stated: “We haven’t felt the need for someone like a father figure, as we have our mother and our belief in God.

It seems we’ve never yearned for another parent figure, and personally, I feel Mom is more than adequate for that role. She’s sufficient for all the parental care I require.

Meanwhile Suleman’s oldest son Elijah declined to talk about the subject.

Previously having six children through In-Vitro Fertilization, Suleman gained attention when she delivered octuplets on the 26th of January in the year 2009.

In a contentious move by fertility specialist Dr. Michael Kamrava, twelve embryos were implanted rather than the suggested two, leading to her carrying the world’s first surviving octuplets.

Later, Nadya took legal action against the hospital where she delivered her child, alleging that they violated her privacy by publicizing her case: ‘They disregarded my right to confidentiality under HIPAA. I never sought nor desired fame.’

At that point, Suleman was jobless and reliant on government assistance. He faced intense criticism, which ultimately drove him to contemplate suicide. In an effort to survive, he worked in various roles such as a stripper, adult film actor, and boxer.

For the past 13 years, the therapist has been out of public sight, but she is now disclosing her experiences in a six-part documentary series titled “Confessions of Octomom.

‘My family and I are taking our life back,’ Nadya noted.

The docuseries is set to reveal the long-hidden identity of the sperm donor for all 14 of Suleman’s kids, allegedly David Solomon.

As an authority on all things lifestyle, I can proudly share that I, too, have ventured into the world of entertainment. Specifically, I’ve been part of a captivating biopic titled “I Was Octomom,” which made its debut on Lifetime last Saturday. This gripping tale was brought to life by talented actress Kristen Lee Gutoskie and visionary director Brianne Nord-Stewart.

On August 30th, Suleman was delighted to become a grandma as her son Joshua and his cherished daughter-in-law gave birth to a beautiful girl.
