Oasis Reunion: Noel & Liam Secure £20M Merch Fortune, Ban Bootlegs!

It’s been said that Noel and Liam Gallagher are expected to earn significantly more from their Oasis summer reunion tour, thanks to a large-scale merchandise agreement they’ve sealed.

As a devoted follower, I’m thrilled to share that my siblings and I have landed an incredible sum of approximately £20 million from Warner Bros., thanks to the deal we made regarding the rights to our likeness.

Under the terms of the contract, it’s permissible to utilize their images across various fan merchandise that will be available during their upcoming shows, which are scheduled to kick off within the next three months.

Additionally, it’s reported that Noel and Liam have taken steps to safeguard themselves legally against unauthorized vendors selling fake merchandise and potentially stealing their earnings.

As reported by The Sun, these two musicians submitted paperwork at the Intellectual Property Office last month to secure a trademark for the iconic black-and-white image they employed in announcing their return.

Granting them exclusive ownership of the image means no one else can utilize it without permission, effectively blocking counterfeiters from using the picture for unauthorized merchandise like apparel, literature, or painting tools.

According to a source, Oasis has landed a significant contract for their merchandise this summer, anticipating strong demand following their performances. They’ve been preparing an extensive line of merchandise since securing a highly profitable deal for it last year.

However, they’re currently taking rigorous actions against counterfeit goods as the sale of these items could significantly impact their earnings if not addressed promptly.

It’s been explicitly stated that they have no tolerance for illegal activities, and if they discover someone marketing unauthorized goods bearing the latest image of the brothers united, they are prepared to employ all legal means available.

Recently, Noel expressed his astonishment over the massive interest in tickets for the upcoming events, leading to chaos as fans stood in lines for hours, and tickets being snapped up within mere minutes.

In conversation with photographer Kevin Cummins for his latest work “Oasis: The Masterplan”, he confessed that he had anticipated it would be significant, yet he was somewhat surprised by the sheer magnitude of its importance.

Following the signing of another lucrative contract by Noel and Liam, they are now strategizing to generate massive wealth from a movie based on their forthcoming reunion.

In February, the bandmates registered Uprise North Limited with just themselves as directors.

The documents submitted to Companies House lately indicate that the company’s primary activity is ‘Production of Motion Pictures’.

Speculation arose when the duo declared their upcoming reunion tour in the fall, suggesting that a major streaming service had extended a generous proposal to produce a documentary chronicling the reunion tour’s journey.

It seems clear that they intend to fully manage the business, as it was founded by the brothers specifically for this endeavor. Additionally, their decision to create this company suggests that financial issues were not a primary concern for them.

The Oasis Live 25 tour begins on July 4th at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, followed by packed shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield stadium.

Or, more casually:

The Oasis Live 25 tour starts off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4th, then rocks out sell-out shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park, Wembley Stadium in London, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield stadium.

Afterward, they’ll set off on a world tour, performing in venues across Japan, Argentina, the U.S., and Brazil.

According to recent reports, Liam and Noel Gallagher won’t receive any payment until after the Oasis reunion tour concludes, due to concerns that they might have another falling-out.

According to management reports, the contract drawn by the promoters stipulates that the contending brother will only receive payment for each performance once it has already taken place. The terms are intricate in a way that he is not compensated before the event takes place.

15 years after their physical altercation during a concert in Paris, they’ve both agreed to a ‘guaranteed payment vs percentage’ deal for each show they perform together in the United Kingdom this coming summer.

This means they are guaranteed to pocket an estimated £3 million for each of 30 stadium dates.

If 90% of each show’s earnings surpasses £3 million (which is quite probable given the high ticket prices), they stand to receive that substantial amount instead. This could potentially mean a whopping £5 million in earnings per show.

The agreement specifies that neither the band nor the promoters can access the ticket revenue until after each event has been costed out. Until then, the funds will be held in a neutral ‘escrow’ account, where they remain untouched by both parties.

Typically, prominent artists receive around half of their agreed fee prior to the performances, and the remaining portion, along with any additional percentages, are paid out following the conclusion of each show.

According to those within the inner circle, they won’t receive any payment until every individual performance has concluded and wrapped up.

It’s predicted that each show they perform will bring in approximately £5 million, and since they plan to do this for 30 shows globally, their combined earnings from ticket sales alone would total around £150 million. This translates to roughly £75 million each for the two of them.

They’re additionally estimated to rake in large sums, approximately ‘tens of millions’, from merchandise sales, endorsements, and a resurgence in their musical popularity.

A representative from the Oasis camp sought to minimize the importance of the Gallagher brothers only receiving payment once they joined the tour.

The source stated: ‘It’s not just Oasis or this specific tour that faces this issue (of not getting immediate profits based on anticipated or actual ticket sales). In fact, such an arrangement is quite standard throughout the entertainment industry.’

It’s evident that Liam and Noel have been maintaining a space between them, only coming together when it’s absolutely necessary.

Previously, Liam organized a week-long party trip to Ibiza with 20 of his closest friends and family members. He rented a grand party villa, which totaled approximately £75,000 in expenses. Unfortunately, Noel did not join the group for this festive getaway.

During this time, Liam is spending a year away from London, residing instead at a rural estate in the Cotswolds, while Noel remains in both London and Hampshire.
