Oasis finished their highly successful 41-city reunion tour on Sunday night with a final performance for 60,000 enthusiastic fans in São Paulo, Brazil.
Almost immediately, speculation has begun over what the brothers might do next.
Sources suggest discussions are already underway about a possible comeback, including options like releasing a new compilation album, playing concerts at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, and even returning to the iconic Knebworth venue.
Noel Gallagher once put together a collection of Oasis songs from after the year 2000, including some tracks that weren’t originally released as singles. However, the project was canceled because Liam didn’t approve of it.
In 2023, Noel reflected in an interview: ‘He wouldn’t have it in the end, I don’t know why.’
After the band’s recent and very successful return, they are now considering several ideas, including re-releasing that album.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing amazing things about this recent tour – it’s been a huge success, even surpassing what everyone hoped for! The brothers involved are now planning to take a well-deserved break. They’ve accomplished something massive, and they need time to really process and appreciate just how incredible it all was.
Okay, so I was reading an interview, and someone close to Noel and Liam said they’re both completely wiped out after the tour! Like, they need serious time to just…process everything that happened. It was HUGE, apparently, and they’re both needing a long break to even begin to understand how massive it all was. I mean, can you imagine? They deserve it, honestly!
It’s been amazing for the band to perform together again, and having guitarist Bonehead join them for their recent shows has been truly special.
They understand their fans are eager for more content, like a new greatest hits album or additional concerts, and believe there’s a strong demand for it.
Rumors suggest Etihad is considering a residency next summer, and the artist has also received offers to perform at major festivals like Coachella and Benicàssim.
Although no firm plans are in place, there’s clearly still interest in an Oasis reunion. The speed and success of their recent surprise performance indicate that anything is possible.
Okay, so Liam definitely knows we’re all losing it! I was just tweeting about how I’d cope without seeing him on tour next year – seriously, HOW?! – and he actually replied! It was basically him saying he wants to keep the good times rolling, which means…MORE SHOWS, hopefully! I’m practically vibrating with excitement, honestly. He gets us, he really gets us.
Liam posted on X saying he plans to continue performing in the years to come, but isn’t sure yet if it will be with Oasis. He says the band needs to have a conversation about their future plans.

I’d love to be on tour forever – it’s the best feeling – but unfortunately, the decision isn’t up to me.
The Daily Mail has contacted Oasis’ representatives for comment.
The band recently paused their concert in Brazil to honor Stone Roses bassist Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield, and this news follows shortly after that tribute. They also shared updates regarding their plans for 2026.
The bassist tragically died on Thursday aged 63.
While Oasis played ‘Live Forever,’ a large photo of Gary appeared on the screen behind them.
Liam, the band’s singer, glanced at the photo and then applauded when the song finished. The image stayed on the screen until they launched into their next song, ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Star’.
Oasis members were good friends with Gary, and Liam was with him for his final public appearance – at boxer Ricky Hatton’s funeral on October 10th.
Gary passed away at his home in Heaton Moor, Stockport, after suffering a seizure and collapsing. Sadly, despite the arrival of an ambulance, he could not be saved, according to family sources.
