Oasis 'are in talks' about filming a multi-million-pound Beatles-style documentary for their reunion tour - after telling fans shows will 'not televised'

As a seasoned concert-goer who has witnessed my fair share of band reunions and price hikes, I must say that the latest news about Oasis hitting the road again is both intriguing and slightly disheartening. The idea of seeing Noel and Liam Gallagher share the stage once more is enticing, but the specter of dynamic pricing looming over the tickets leaves a bitter taste.

Reports suggest that Oasis might be discussing a high-value, Beatles-esque documentary based on their reunion tour, despite previously informing fans that the concerts wouldn’t be broadcasted.

Reportedly, executives from Apple TV+ are contending for the rights to produce content and are competing fiercely with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

In 2025, a movie is planned that is expected to mirror Disney+’s “The Beatles: Get Back.” This film will chronicle the events leading up to Noel and Liam Gallagher’s much-anticipated concerts.

As a lifestyle expert, I can confidently share that I’ve heard whispers about an extraordinary documentary that could very well be the talk of the town for the entirety of this decade. It seems that Apple TV+ is eager to secure the rights to this masterpiece, and they’re prepared to invest substantially to make it happen.

Despite encountering rivalry from streaming platforms like Amazon Prime and Netflix, Apple has significantly invested their resources into this particular venture.

Viewers will find that it’s similar to the Beatles documentary, offering an unprecedented look behind the scenes of the group.

TopMob has contacted Oasis’ representative for comment.

The manufacturing process is anticipated to mirror the fashion of Disney+’s Get Back, a documentary chronicling the creation of The Beatles’ 1970 album Let It Be by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.

Noel, 57, and Liam, 52, are reportedly massive Beatles fans.

In July 2025, the siblings will be back on stage together, performing a total of 17 shows throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

They will first embrace the stage at Cardiff’s Principality.

After ending their 15-year family feud, the tour is set to take in £400million.

Announcing the Oasis Live 25 tour and sharing their first photo together in a long time, the iconic band proclaimed: ‘Peace has returned. Fate has brought us here. The long-awaited moment has arrived. Don’t miss it! This event won’t be broadcast on TV.’

The Oasis site went down straight away following the announcement, causing fans to go wild with excitement. The reunion is set for a day prior to the anniversary of the band’s breakup on August 28, 2009.

According to recent reports, it’s possible that Oasis will unveil upcoming performances in New York and Los Angeles. A reliable source hinted at a potential series of new concerts.

The band has successfully sold all tickets for their much-awaited UK tour as part of their reunion, but they faced criticism when it was revealed that the cost of regular tickets increased from £148 to £355 because of Ticketmaster’s flexible pricing model.

A source told The Sun: Noel and Liam will be announcing their shows in the US on Friday.’

They continued: ‘It’s going to be a handful of massive dates in major cities. Brits living in New York and Los Angeles should have a decent chance at getting themselves a ticket.

As an ardent supporter, I eagerly anticipate the upcoming Oasis concerts at their home venue. However, to avoid any ticket-related difficulties we faced earlier, I’m hopeful that the same massive enthusiasm from the fans will be channeled into a smoother ticketing process this time around.

Last week, Liam seemed to hint that Oasis will bring their reunion tour to America through a cryptic post.

Regardless of the recent criticism they’ve faced, they appear poised to perform their largest-ever U.S. concerts. Liam has even alluded to recent speculation in an interview on X.

When one fan asked: ‘Liam I know you’re not the biggest fan of us but is Oasis coming to AMERICA?’

He replied: ‘I love America and I know deep down you love ME.’

Reports claimed on Saturday that Liam and Noel had ‘financial incentive’ to expand the tour.

According to a source, representatives at Live Nation are eagerly hoping for this event to transpire, and Liam and Noel Gallagher have reportedly discussed the details. The possibility of them completing the tour without another argument has been brought up, but there’s now a significant financial motivation pushing them to keep their performance going smoothly.

According to the report, the band is expected to perform at the massive SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, along with other large concert venues scattered throughout the U.S.

Billboards in New York’s Times Square appeared to tease US dates.

The digital communication displayed the Amazon Music emblem along with an image of the Gallagher brothers, accompanied by the statement: ‘Should a billboard be necessary for their visit to the U.S., here’s one for you!’

In another setting, both Oasis and Ticketmaster have been urged, as a committed supporter, to uphold integrity and reimburse fans who were affected by fluctuating prices, as advocated by the consumer organization known as Which?

People excited for Oasis’s much-awaited tour have expressed their anger towards the band and ticketing company, as the cost of standard tickets increased dramatically from £148 to £355.

According to Ticketmaster, the high ticket prices were a result of increased demand, which was an arrangement made in coordination with Oasis’s management team. However, it appears that Oasis themselves were not informed about the implementation of dynamic pricing at the time the tickets first became available for purchase.

After that, both the government and the United Kingdom’s regulatory body responsible for competition issues have expressed their intention to examine and possibly implement this policy.

Currently, one of the UK’s highly recognized consumer advocacy organizations, “Now Which?”, is urging event organizers to refund a portion of the overpaid ticket fees for individuals who spent more than anticipated to secure tickets for live performances.

After the dispute arose, Which? invited Oasis fans to submit pictures of their ticket-purchasing and checkout stages so they could investigate whether any warnings were given about potential price increases due to increased demand.

According to the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations (CPRs), it’s crucial for sellers to present prices honestly and transparently, ensuring all essential price details are disclosed so consumers can make educated buying decisions without being misled.

Many fans discovered the ticket price increases only after they had attempted to put less expensive tickets into their shopping carts.

According to the watchdog, although ‘dynamic pricing’ was indeed stated in the website’s terms and conditions, it wasn’t explicitly clear that this method would apply specifically to Oasis tickets.
