Oasis announce special 30th anniversary project
As a lifelong Oasis fan, I can barely contain my excitement! Thirty years since ‘Whatever’ graced our airwaves, and they’re still making magic happen. The remastered version of that iconic music video is a treat for the eyes, and the limited edition vinyl? Forget about it!
Oasis revealed a unique initiative to mark the 30th anniversary of one of their most successful albums.
This year, I’m thrilled to share that the iconic band known for the infamous feud between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher has scheduled a series of exciting reunion concerts! The tour will be taking us on a global journey with stops in the UK, US, Ireland, Canada, Australia, South America, Japan, and South Korea. Can’t wait to rock out with them again!
Today is the 30th anniversary of the release of the band’s popular single “Whatever”. To celebrate this milestone, the band has unveiled a high-definition 4K remastered version of their music video.
The video, complete with remastered audio, has been shared on the Oasis YouTube channel.

On February 21st, Oasis will unveil a special, numbered collection of pink and blue splattered 7″ vinyl records. These records feature remastered tracks.
Now’s the time to pre-order the upcoming record, featuring the bonus track “(It’s Good) To Be Free” on its B-side.
In 2009, Oasis went their separate ways, but this year, they thrilled fans by announcing they would be performing together at a string of concerts.
It didn’t come as a shock that the tickets were snapped up incredibly fast, stirring up debate when Ticketmaster’s pricing system, which adjusts prices based on demand, led to an escalation of ticket costs as interest grew.
Amid the backlash, Oasis released a statement saying that they were not aware of the selling model.
They emphasized that all ticket and pricing choices for Oasis events are solely handled by the promoters and management, and they were never informed in advance about the use of dynamic pricing.
Previously, discussions among promoters, Ticketmaster, and the band’s representatives led to an agreed-upon strategy for ticket sales that aimed to offer a beneficial experience for fans. This included the use of dynamic ticketing to keep overall prices fair while minimizing scalping. However, unfortunately, the implementation of this plan fell short of our expectations.
Despite everyone’s best efforts to provide an exceptional fan experience, the extraordinary level of interest made it difficult, if not impossible, to fully meet that goal.
