Oakley recently showcased its golf collection at the PGA Tour, signaling a big move into the sport. The brand’s new Edge Icon shoe, a striking design that expands beyond their traditional eyewear focus, quickly caught the attention of visitors. With a collaboration featuring J.R. Smith and the launch of their “Artifacts From the Future” campaign, Oakley is rapidly becoming a serious player in golf apparel.

Oakley’s new “Future Genesis” campaign creates a vision of the future with dramatic, high-tech visuals and a slightly unsettling, dystopian feel. This futuristic style extends to a new clothing line created with Hypegolf Label. The collection features clean, simple designs that capture the same cool, bold look as Oakley’s signature sunglasses and gear.
Oakley is known for combining advanced technology with unique designs. They don’t just build products; they reimagine how things can be made to perform better, turning everyday items into something extraordinary. The Oakley x Hypegolf collection follows this approach, offering clothing designed to move with you. The C1 Engineered Exo Polo, for example, uses a breathable jacquard knit and moisture-wicking Hydrolix fabric for comfort. Subtle details like a hidden eyewear loop and the Oakley ellipse logo pay homage to the brand’s history and iconic style.
The C1 Bark Pullover is a stylish and functional layering piece designed for performance. It features a quarter-zip closure, a raised collar, and a moisture-wicking fabric that allows for easy movement. The Oakley logo is on the front, with Hypegolf lettering on the back. The collection also includes the Driven Tee, a simple but comfortable double-knit crewneck with a loop for holding eyewear at the back of the collar. This tee is made with a fabric blend that keeps you cool and comfortable with good airflow. Finally, a co-branded performance cap completes the collection, featuring laser-cut holes for ventilation and a curved brim for sun protection.
The new Hypegolf and Oakley collection blends the unique styles of both brands with understated branding and a cool gray and blue color palette. The designs have a futuristic, almost sci-fi feel, reminiscent of the movie *Blade Runner*, but still offer a refined look for both golf and everyday wear. You can find the collection at the new Hypegolf Clubhouse in New York City’s SoHo, alongside a full display of Oakley’s eyewear, including the Plantaris, Lateralis, and Masseter lines.
As a long-time fan, I’ve been so impressed to see Oakley really come back strong this year! They’re proving they still belong at the top of the sports world, and they’re doing it without sacrificing their cool, futuristic style. Their sunglasses and clothes always look like something out of a sci-fi movie – seriously, they’re designed for people who are pushing boundaries. And with all the young talent shaking up golf right now, it feels like Oakley and their athletes are perfectly positioned to dominate for years to come.
