As an ardent follower of Tom Burgess and Tahlia Giumelli’s love story, I am absolutely thrilled to witness their latest milestone – the birth of their third child, Alfie Mark Burgess! The couple’s journey has been nothing short of a whirlwind romance, filled with joy, challenges, and unwavering resilience.

Tom Burgess and his wife Tahlia Giumelli have welcomed their third child.

The model and the English rugby player shared the good news on Instagram this weekend, introducing their little boy and revealing his surprising weight at birth.

Alfie Mark Burgess was born on August 8, 1924, at 4:04 PM, with a robust build typical of the Burgess family, weighing 4 kilograms and measuring 54 centimeters in length. Tahlia, aged 30, shared this information along with photos of the newborn.

She added: ‘Our sweet little boy, the perfect addition to our family’.

In another instance, Tahlia detailed how Tom, aged 31, aided in a delivery, and then proceeded to join the Rabbitohs for a game of football.

In my role as a dedicated helper, I swiftly donned the gloves for the birth of our little one. Soon after, I found myself transitioning from midwife assistant to football player, managing to arrive just in time to join my team on the field and play. This is captured in the video of the newborn that I shared along with it.

In the third comment, Tahlia clarified that Alfie carries the family surname and shared that he is deeply loved and pampered by his elder sisters.

As the miracle of life unfolded, my father, an exceptional obstetrician, and the dedicated midwives by my side, I can’t express enough gratitude for enabling the arrival of Tom in this breathtaking instance. Indeed, I am deeply thankful.

‘Will be soaking in all the newborn cuddles and enjoying this little newborn bubble’.

The couple already have two older children, daughters Sophie, four, and Elodie, three.

In 2022, they got married in a breathtaking, celebrity-filled wedding ceremony held at a picturesque waterfront park in Sydney’s Watsons Bay.

Back in April 2017, it came to light that the soccer player had been in a relationship with a captivating model for about half a year.

In August 2019, they announced the arrival of their first child, a daughter named Sophie Heather.

The couple announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve 2019, after three years of dating.

Last August 2020, I couldn’t contain my excitement when my beloved Tahlia revealed her second pregnancy! She shared a heartwarming snapshot on Instagram, proudly displaying her growing bump for all to see.

In November 2020, their second daughter, Elodie, arrived a bit earlier than expected at 36 weeks. They announced her birth through an Instagram post.

Last July, Tom and Tahlia shared that they were forced to delay their wedding because of the COVID-19 safety measures.

During that period, Tahlia shared on Instagram: ‘Following nearly two years of preparations, Tom and I faced a difficult choice – we needed to delay and relocate our wedding venue entirely.’

In light of another surge of COVID-19 in New South Wales, our top concern remains the wellbeing and safety of our loved ones.

As someone who has been through the whirlwind of planning a wedding myself, I can confidently say that I am certain it will be just as spectacular when the time comes. However, amidst the current circumstances, a wedding doesn’t feel like an immediate priority for me. I empathize deeply with all the brides who are in the same situation, as we share the challenge of balancing our dreams and reality.

Last December, I, an ardent fan, found myself gripped by disappointment as the beloved couple had no choice but to delay their marriage yet again. Their latest wedding plans, which they had meticulously set for that year, were cast aside due to Tom falling ill with Covid-19 during a trip to Byron Bay.

They finally walked down the aisle in January, 2022.
