Nova star Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald confronted by fan live on air after the ‘hungover’ radio host was rude to her at a party: ‘Disappointed’

During a live broadcast, Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald was approached by an enthusiastic fan following his decision not to take a picture with her at a post-party event.

On Tuesday, Joanne, who is known as “the fan,” shared a tale about a celebrity encounter during a phone call to Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, along with Kate Ritchie, when they were asking for such stories on their show.

Joanne said she approached Fitzy after a party and asked for a selfie – only to be rebuffed.

Joanne shared that she had admired him for quite some time, this dashingly tall gentleman. At a recent gathering, she approached him to ask for a photograph, but he declined her request.

Wow, who on earth was that just now? Michael “Wippa” Wipfli wondered aloud, and Joanne responded, ‘That was your buddy, Fitzy!’

Fitzy reacted with surprise, saying, “Come on, really? I’ve always been helping out Joanne, is this for real?

Joanne chuckled and remarked, ‘You seemed a bit under the weather that day, I think it might have been the aftermath of our wild night!’

‘This was ages ago, we were both at the same function place in Terry Hills,’ she added.

‘When the party finished we were all in the foyer there. But you made up for it in the end.’

Fitzy asked: ‘How did I make up for it? Because I’m really disappointed in myself!’

It turned out fine in the end, Joanne reassured the anxious radio host, adding that they managed to take a photo together at another gathering later on.

She mentioned, “That’s because I have a picture of the two of you together, from when Wippa had his running club in Hyde Park!

Ryan became a household name by appearing on Channel 10’s Big Brother back in 2004.

More recently, a 48-year-old individual shared an unexpected figure as the compensation they received for participating in the contentious reality TV program back then.

He dispelled claims that the actors were earning substantial amounts of money while he was working on the highly-rated show.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d like to clarify a common misconception about my time on Big Brother. Contrary to popular belief, we weren’t rolling in cash during our stay. In fact, the daily compensation was a straightforward $100.

Though it might appear small, even considering the values of 2004, Ryan mentioned that he didn’t mind receiving such a low salary due to his minimal expenses while participating in the reality show.

He mentioned, ‘You see, I was stuck inside for three months straight. That’s quite a while if you think about it since you haven’t been using that money on anything. When you finally get out, it’ll be a substantial surprise.’

In the fourth season of the show, Ryan placed fourth after Trevor Butler, Bree Amer, and Paul Dyer. He mentioned that although he didn’t win a substantial amount of money, there were some additional perks provided to help make up for it.

In 2004, during my time on Big Brother, although I came in fourth place, I departed the show with several prizes: a Mitsubishi Lancer, a vacation to New Caledonia, and as far as I remember, a TAG Heuer watch that I believe is tucked away somewhere.
