Noughties playboy who dated a string of Page 3 models including Katie Price and Rhian Sugden and even married Jodie Marsh is unrecognisable now – and leading a VERY different life

In the early 2000s, I was known as the charismatic heartthrob Matt Peacock, a name synonymous with glamour and fame. However, following my brief stint in the limelight, I’ve undergone a significant transformation – a testament to the fact that life post-fame is vastly different.

Matt, aged 42, well-known primarily for his connections with Katie Price and Jodie Marsh, continues to thrive in the modeling industry and frequently shares snippets of his professional endeavors on his Instagram account.

Following unsuccessful relationships with models like Katie and Rhian Sugden, as well as his ex-wife Jodie, he is now contentedly married to Rachael, whom he wed in 2016. They became parents to a daughter named Lily in the year 2018.

Currently, he bears little resemblance to his nineties playboy persona; he’s now sporting a neat, dark brown hairstyle instead of the dyed blonde locks he used to have.

Instead of leading the playboy lifestyle he once had, he now resides peacefully with his family in a rural area not far from Manchester, where his roots lie. This is quite a change from his previous ways.

He frequently takes and shares photographs (both of himself without a shirt on, typically at the gym) as well as adorable snapshots and clips of his daughter and two pets, all out of his deep affection for fitness and family.

Matt and his spouse continue to mingle in social circles that include celebrities, particularly Ryan Thomas, a past actor on Coronation Street, with whom Matt has posted photos from Ryan’s 40th birthday party in June of last year.

One snap showed Matt, his wife, Ryan and Ryan’s fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh all posing together. 

Matt, originally from Manchester began his career as a model.

Shortly following the birth of her first son Harvey with former partner Dwight Yorke in 2002, Katie Price soon found herself in a relationship with male model Matt.

At a car show, where she was modeling, the young actress (age 24) crossed paths with Matt, who worked as an assistant at a tanning salon (age 18).

Over the brief span of their relationship, they took vacations as a pair in Ayia Napa and shared an interview for a stylish publication.

During that period, Katie referred to him as her “pillar of strength” since he supported her while she coped with Harvey’s health issues and underwent treatment for a rare type of cancer known as Leiomyosarcoma on her finger.

However, following an intense disagreement, they parted ways mere two months into their relationship. At that moment, it was reported that Matt’s friends claimed he found the media spotlight difficult to manage.

Soon after Katie began to date Peter Andre – with the pair marrying in 2005. 

At the time when Katie encountered Peter, she was already in a committed relationship with Scott Sullivan. That very year, 2004, while still with Scott, she participated in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

It was during that show that she and Peter Andre fell in love and eventually married. 

Matt then went on to date Katie’s then rival Jodie.

In the year 2007, the couple tied the knot on the reality television program titled “Totally Jodie Marsh: Who Wins Jodie Marsh Down the Altar?

They got married at the Sugar Hut nightclub in Brentwood, Essex, a venue often featured on the reality show The Only Way Is Essex. However, their marriage only lasted for three months.

The collapse of their relationship the next year prompted Matt to remark that she had been attracted to him primarily due to his romantic involvement with Katie in 2002.

‘I think the fact that I’d been out with [Katie] must have done it for Jodie,’ he said at the time.

‘She’s obsessed with her.’

He commented about the division, saying, “I need all the clothes I left there. I’m unsure about what she’s up to with them; perhaps she’s smelling them or something similar.

After splitting from Jodie, Matt started going out with the stunning Rhian Sugden.

They dated for around a year before splitting.

2010 found Rhian, once a popular glamour model and a former Page Three girl, drawn even more deeply into public scrutiny due to a texting scandal involving her and television personality Vernon Kay. At the time, Vernon was married to Tess Daly.

In 2020, Matt shared his thoughts on how losing his hair led him to fear the possible end of his modeling career.

For a number of years, he served as the prominent representative for well-known companies such as Land Rover, Gigs Eyewear, and Laithwaites Wine.

But he was left worrying about his hair loss so opted to have a hair transplant. 

At that point, he shared with The Manchester Evening News: “For several years, losing my hair has been denting my self-confidence significantly, and it was negatively impacting my daily routines.

I was under immense stress, needing to maintain an attractive appearance and secure modeling gigs consistently to cover our expenses and ensure a home for my family.

In today’s society, social media platforms often present unrealistic ideals due to the pressure for flawlessness. We reside in a world where visual appeal is highly valued.

He added: ‘I went for a hair transplant and it has truly changed my life.’
