The early 2000s girl group Mis-Teeq is rumored to be planning a concert to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their first successful album.
Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington, and Su-Elise Nash – the group behind the 2001 hit song ‘Lickin’ On Both Sides’ – are planning a reunion show to celebrate their success.
The album reached number three on the Official Album Charts and included their first five singles, all of which reached the top 10 in the UK.
According to a source, Alesha Dixon has been hoping for a Mis-Teeq reunion with Sabrina and Su-Elise for some time now and is very enthusiastic about the possibility.
Currently, there’s a lot of talk about potential plans, including the possibility of a special, one-time performance. This could range from a small, private concert for dedicated fans to a televised appearance on a show like Britain’s Got Talent, where Alesha Dixon is a judge.
The album ‘Lickin’ On Both Sides’ helped launch the careers of Alesha, Sabrina, and Su-Elise, and it remains a cherished project for all of them.

The source added that while nothing is confirmed, the band wish to celebrate with fans.
Daily Mail have contacted the group’s representatives for comment.
The girl group, which produced worldwide hit Scandalous, was formed in 1999.
Mis-Teeq was a very successful group, achieving top ten album status twice and releasing seven singles that all charted in the UK.
However, in 2005 the group split up after their then record label folded.
Although it seemed Alesha was preventing a possible reunion, news came out in 2020 that Sabrina was actually taking legal action against the Britain’s Got Talent judge regarding payments for her songwriting contributions.
According to a source, Sabrina previously claimed that Alesha improperly received royalty payments for their first two songs.
The women have resolved their disagreement, and Su-Elise told the Daily Mail that Sabrina is now reconciled with the group.

The 44-year-old shared that Sabrina is back involved with the group. They still keep in touch regularly and have a Mis-Teeq WhatsApp group where they discuss work and other ongoing projects.
It’s good to check in with each other and see how everyone is doing. It doesn’t need to be a regular occurrence, though.
Su-Elise shared that the group stays in touch regularly and has discussed the possibility of getting back together.
We’ve always been open to the possibility, saying we’d consider it if the timing felt right. We’re currently all in touch with each other.
‘We are speaking on a fairly regular basis, but there is nothing set in stone as yet.
We’re open to the right opportunity, but we aren’t currently working on anything specific.
When Mis-Teeq first started, we were pioneers of UK garage and R&B music in the UK, and we achieved a lot of success. Now, if we were to make music again, it would be purely for enjoyment and fun.
