Helen George expressed her heartfelt feelings of affection following the announcement that she has entered into a new relationship with entrepreneur Dan Innes, as reported by TopMob.
On Thursday, she shared multiple photos from the recent past on Instagram, among them a heartwarming photo with her little girl.
In an affectionate update shared with her followers, the actress from Call the Midwife was clearly playing the role of a loving mother, as she tenderly kissed her three-year-old child, Lark.
In the picture, the forty-year-old actress opted for a casual look, donning a black tank top, while allowing her medium-length brown hair to flow freely. She added a touch of elegance with a gold hoop earring, a gold ring on her left hand, and a silver wristwatch.
She added the caption: ‘Schnitzels, Snow Patrol and Strolls. Nothing but love ❤️’
Shortly after news broke that she has been in a relationship with 43-year-old Dan, a divorced man with two children, it was disclosed that they started dating in January. The rumor suggests they connected through the exclusive celebrity dating platform, Raya.
On Valentine’s Day, the duo dined at a restaurant in Barnes, a neighborhood near where Dan, aged 51, works. This special occasion was captured and shared by Helen on her Instagram Stories.
The duo savored their dinner at The Waterman Arms, and Dan playfully posted a picture of the smiling actress holding a bottle of red wine, captioned: “Could I have this takeout, please? #YesYesYes”.
A year ago, romance blossomed for Helen, who had previously been connected with her Call the Midwife colleague, Olly Rix (the character Matthew Aylward he portrayed).
They reportedly grew close following splits from their respective longterm partners.
At that point in time, Helen was no longer in a relationship with her longtime partner, Jack Ashton, whom she has two daughters (Wren Ivy and Lark) with. Simultaneously, Olly found himself single after parting ways with his girlfriend, makeup artist Natasha Fagri, whom he had been dating since 2016.
Subsequently, they grew distant, and following her decision to join Raya for romantic purposes, she is currently in a relationship with the head of a property marketing firm.
On Dan’s LinkedIn page, it states that he boasts over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. His unique expertise lies in his ability to visualize the broader perspective of properties, an aspect that currently encompasses the integration of technology.
Born and raised in North Wales, he then went on to study at Newcastle University. Afterward, he chose to make his home in London.
He is currently the managing director and founder of real estate consultancy firm Innesco.
In the year 2016, Dan parted ways with his wife, Kate Wetten, who at that time was the mother of their two children aged 14 and 12. Their marriage took place in 2008.
Helen shared on her Instagram Story during the weekend, saying: ‘A delightful Valentine’s Day feast, leaving both our hearts and bellies satisfied. Thanks to @daninnes @thewatermans.arms for a wonderful meal.’
Dan’s Instagram account is set to private, but his bio describes him as a forward-thinking individual, a world traveler with an interest in architecture, someone who appreciates both the sea and the mountains, a proponent of health and balance, a potential Viking, and a rower who may navigate both national waters and the Atlantic Ocean.
Following the news last September about Helen signing up for the celebrity dating app Raya, it appears their relationship with Olly was growing distant.
In July 2023, she ended her relationship with Jack, and around the same period, Olly also parted ways with his girlfriend, Natasha Fagri.
Helen and Olly were said to be supporting each other as they navigated their respective splits.
2016 saw Helen initiate a romance with Jack following their encounter on the set of Call the Midwife, where she portrays Trixie Franklin.
In the movie, the two characters found themselves falling in love, and Tom went ahead to propose to Trixie. However, she later decided to end their relationship.
In reality, it was reported that they developed feelings for each other while they traveled to South Africa to shoot the 2016 Christmas Special episode of their show.
In July 2023, Helen informed The Mirror that she and her partner had parted ways some time earlier. Their two lovely daughters continue to be our priority, and I kindly request privacy during this new phase of our lives.
According to the source, Helen and Jack’s choice to part ways in their relationship has been peaceful, and there are no other individuals involved. They simply drifted apart as a romantic pair over time.

Moving on from Olly and Jack, Helen signed up to star-studded app Raya, according to The Mirror.

Previously, the actress sparked rumors of a romantic connection among fans on social media by posting numerous photos from her recent trip to Italy, which included several unfamiliar faces.
In the series of pictures, she appeared stunning, showcased by a selfie in a bikini as well as a couple of snapshots featuring a new, dark-haired male companion.
Eager admirers of the celebrity flocked to the comment section, posting queries such as “Who is the latest addition?” and expressing admiration with “A new love interest? Quite dashing!
Nevertheless, Helen swiftly dismissed the rumors about her romantic involvement and affirmed that the enigmatic admirer was merely an acquaintance, someone who happens to be married.
She answered a flirtatious question about the identity of the man by saying: “They’re my good friends Ryan and Oliver, who are actually a couple and married to each other,” followed by a grinning emoji.
Finding humour in the situation, the actress went on to joke: ‘Sadly I’m not their type.’
Helen was previously married to actor Oliver Boot, but they divorced after three years.
In December 2012, Helen reconnected with her ex-spouse at the BBC series Hotel Babylon’s filming location, and they tied the knot.
In 2015, only a few weeks prior, their split happened when Helen embarked on her appearance in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. She was partnered with professional dancer Aljaž Skorjanec and reached the sixth spot in the competition.
