Not sure what to stream this weekend? Here are our 4 top picks!

As a dedicated fan and someone who cherishes every moment of entertainment, I can’t help but get excited about Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine! With Ryan Reynolds leading the way, it’s no wonder that we’ve all cleared our schedules for this highly-anticipated event. And to top it off, there are cameos galore! But I understand that not everyone shares the same level of enthusiasm for Marvel or just needs something more to keep them entertained. So, I’d like to share a few suggestions based on my own experiences and the wealth of streaming content available today.

Why resist the urge? With Hugh Jackman back as Logan, aka Wolverine, and Ryan Reynolds leading the way, it’s no surprise that everyone has made plans to watch this highly-anticipated return. And if that weren’t enough, there are numerous cameos to look forward to! It’s safe to say that this is the must-see event of the weekend. However, if Marvel movies or an engaging experience aren’t your cup of tea, here are some alternative suggestions for your viewing pleasure.

Before we dive into all of the details, here’s a quick list of what you can stream:

  • Presumed Innocent season 1 finale
  • Dress My Tour
  • Time Bandits
  • Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam

Presumed Innocent season 1 finale

The final episode of season 1 from “Presumed Innocent,” featuring Jake Gyllenhaal, aired on Apple TV+ on July 24. Despite being labeled as the finale, it’s actually the eighth installment in this legal drama series. This might come as a surprise to some viewers, but it’s becoming increasingly common for shows not to follow the traditional 10-episode format; earlier this year, Apple TV+’s “Dark Matter” had just nine episodes.

The final episode of “Presumed Innocent” season 1 leaves viewers in awe with its shocking twist. Frankly, I was taken aback by the revelation. I’m eager to discover what season 2 has in store for us. All that’s been announced is that it will focus on another legal case and most likely introduce a new ensemble of characters.

Dress My Tour

If you have a passion for fashion, don’t miss out on “Dress My Tour” on Hulu. In this competition series, Kate Upton takes the role of the hostess with the mostest. Why? Because she’s simply unbeatable in this field!

Time Bandits

Currently available for streaming on Apple TV+ is the fantastical adventure “Time Bandits,” featuring Lisa Kudrow, Kal-El Tuck, and Tadhg Murphy among its stars. In this unique series, Penelope, played by Kudrow, leads a band of unconventional thieves who possess the ability to bend the rules of time and space. For families looking for an engaging new show, “Time Bandits” is worth considering. This production carries a PG rating, making it suitable for children, but its sci-fi elements may be more appealing to kids aged 10 and above.
