“Not everybody can be as great as me,” says Tyler1 after LCS co-streamer announcement
As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the announcement of Tyler1 joining LCS as a co-streamer has stirred up quite the buzz in the gaming community! Having followed his career since the early days of streaming, I can attest to his undeniable charisma and passion for the game.
Will Tyler1 provide the viewership boost the LCS requires?
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been chosen as one of the League’s latest co-streamers, effective from Week 6! The LCS made this exciting announcement via a tweet and a response video from me. As a passionate fan, I can hardly wait to dive into the action!
Tyler 1 unveiled as LCS Costreamer
The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) has chosen Tyler1 as a co-streamer prior to Week 6. Following five weeks of intense competition, only two weeks remain until the Playoffs. The news of Tyler1’s appointment has sparked quite a debate, which aligns perfectly with his well-known streamer persona.
In an enthusiastic and heartfelt response video to the news, Tyler1 exclaimed “This is just what’s missing” regarding the announcement. Since the announcement graphic specifies Week 6, it remains uncertain whether Tyler1 will be a co-streamer for the rest of the season or if this announcement only pertains to Week 6.
League of Legends fans can catch Tyler1’s stream live at 1 PM PT/ 4pm ET.
Passion, Power, Knowledge – What Tyler brings to the table
Not everybody can be as great as me.
I’m quite tall, physically robust, active, intelligent, good-looking, a formidable player on the chessboard, boasting a 2000 rating, blessed with a stunning family, and sporting long, luxurious hair. In essence, I stand as a towering pillar of strength and ability.
I’m really excited to watch NA’s best …I mean outside me of because I am tall, strong…
Tyler1
In both 2022 and 2023, Tyler1 was honored as the Best League of Legends Streamer at the Streamer Awards. The following year, he added another title to his collection – Best Chess Streamer in 2024. Despite this diverse achievement, his passion remains deeply rooted in League of Legends, a game he confessed being addicted to back in 2018. His streaming style has sparked mixed reactions, with some viewers criticizing his toxic behavior. However, the same approach that has frustrated some viewers is what has also drawn a dedicated fanbase to him.
Tyler1 continues to be a thriving live streamer, and it’s hoped that his new role as a co-streamer in the LCS will attract more viewers and boost interest in North American esports. Over the last few years, the viewership of the LCS has been on a downward spiral, which is concerning for Riot Games, a company based in North America.
According to a recent report on escharts.com, the viewership for LCS Spring saw a decrease of 28% compared to the same period last year. The league decided to move events to weekends in an attempt to halt this decline, and with the announcement that Tyler1 will be co-streaming, there’s optimism that things could improve significantly.
