Nosferatu is now available to watch at home
Now, you can enjoy watching the classic film “Nosferatu” from home, as it raked in over $150 million globally since its holiday debut.
In a fresh take by Robert Eggers, this horror film serves as a modern adaptation of the classic 1922 movie. The narrative centers around Lily-Rose Depp’s character, Ellen, who finds herself entangled in the dark fascination of the ancient vampire Count Orlok, portrayed by Bill Skarsgård.
If you’d like to fully immerse yourself in the Nosferatu experience, it’s still playing in cinemas. However, for those residing in the UK and US, the film is now available for purchase or rental on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and various other digital retailers.
The digital version offers an exclusive extended edition of the film, along with additional content such as deleted scenes.
If you’re keen to own a hard copy of the chilling vampire movie, “Nosferatu”, you can reserve your copy on DVD, Blu-ray, or 4K Ultra HD before its UK launch. However, Universal has not yet announced the exact date for the physical release.
There’s also a 4K Steelbook available to pre-order, which will be released on the same day.
Prior to the theater premiere, Depp discussed with Digital Spy an essential alteration in the upcoming remake of Nosferatu: the expanded role for his character, Ellen, within the narrative.
This woman appears to be struggling with both a vampire and an inner yearning, which certainly adds complexity to the situation,” she pointed out.
You can catch Nosferatu on big screens in theaters currently, and if you prefer to watch it at home, you can purchase or rent it via Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and other platforms in the United States.
