North West appears to have removed the finger piercing that recently caused some controversy, not long after she defended it against criticism.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 12-year-old daughter recently posted some photos on Instagram, just after joining the platform earlier this month.
The latest photos show the young girl having fun in the snow with two friends, striking various poses for the camera.
In some photos, North subtly touched her face near where she’d previously displayed the piercing over the summer.
Last August, while traveling in Italy with her mother, she showed off a new hand piercing. It featured two small silver balls positioned just below the knuckle of her middle finger.
However, the piercing seems to have been removed, with her hand now bare.
Earlier this month, North used the TikTok account she shares with her mother to address recent criticism.
While a sound played saying, ‘Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together,’ the young teen recorded a quick video of themself.
She captioned the video: ‘This is for anyone upset about a finger piercing.’
I first noticed North wearing this beautiful jewelry back in August while she was enjoying a trip to Rome with her mom. It really caught my eye!
Screenshots obtained by The Sun show she previously shared photos of getting the piercing, though those photos have since been removed.
A TikTok user, @mazzy_williams, posted a video reacting to a recent expensive purchase made by a 12-year-old.

The 12-year-old showed off her blue hair styled in braids in a series of short videos. She also wore black grillz and a fake nose piercing.
The videos received a lot of different reactions online, and Kardashian quickly defended her oldest child after people criticized their appearance.

North’s new post comes not long after she made her official Instagram debut on December 19.
She started with a somewhat blurry photo of herself giving a peace sign to the camera.
Just two weeks after joining, the young teenager has already gained almost one million followers on social media.
North has been regularly posting on Instagram, and on Tuesday, she shared additional photos and videos through her Stories feature.
It was a blurry photo taken by a young teenager with a friend, and it was tagged with the location ‘New York City’.
North was also seen with media personality Dani Levi in photos that Levi shared on her Instagram stories.
The celebrity child has been active during the holidays and recently posted a warm Christmas photo with her stepmother, Bianca Censori.
Last week, North shared a screenshot on her Instagram Stories that originally came from rapper Babyxsosa.
In the photo, the young teen was sitting right next to Censori while they chatted with the musician on FaceTime.
We don’t know the exact date of the video call, but the emoji suggests it happened around a holiday.
Since marrying Kanye West in 2022, Bianca Censori has been spending time with North and her other children.
The architect, who was born in Australia, has also been a stepmother several times throughout her life.
Recently, Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were spotted at Disneyland with his three children – Saint, Chicago, and Psalm – whom he shares with Kim Kardashian, enjoying the holiday season.
The SKIMS founder and West also reportedly reunited over the Christmas holiday, per TMZ.
This decision follows a period of self-reflection for the artist, who has been considering his previous actions, including offensive posts and outbursts on social media.
According to sources, the former couple is committed to co-parenting respectfully and had a pleasant, friendly reunion during the holidays.
Despite once objecting to his daughter North being on social media, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West is reportedly becoming more accepting of her presence online.
