North London residents left baffled as filmmakers accidentally notify them of nearby filming on road 11 miles away, on the other side of the city
As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in the entertainment industry, I must say this blunder by Neon Picturehouse is a classic case of “too many cooks spoiling the broth.” The sheer number of people involved in ‘Project Rabbit,’ from actors to crew members, suggests that perhaps too much was left to chance.
In this scenario, a dramatic event unfolded where a suspect was apprehended and medical assistance was required for an individual. To make this incident more powerful, a total of eight performers were recruited, along with a film team of 22 members.
In the movie, tentatively titled ‘Project Rabbit’, they plan to transform the tranquil Monson Road in southeast London into an authentic crime scene setting.
To secure approval for filming, it was only necessary for the local council to be notified about the cast, crew, and even replica emergency vehicles involved, as well as inform the street’s residents.
Unfortunately, however, the notification letters were mailed to an entirely distinct Monson Road, which is located on the other side of our capital city.
People living on Monson Road, located in north-west London, found it unexpected when they learned there would be a shooting event happening on another street, which is approximately 18 kilometers away, set for the following Tuesday evening.

It’s possible that the folks living along Monson Road, situated in southeast London, have been informed via letters, since they might arrive home from work only to believe there’s been a significant event occurring on their street.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but imagine the magic that could unfold if Monson Road, SE14, were to become the stage for Neon Picturehouse’s film production. With their impressive track record, they have a knack for turning ordinary locations into extraordinary cinematic landscapes. The anticipation is almost unbearable!
Among the company’s top executives is Tito Fernandes, who has contributed to some major film productions, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Interstellar, and Captain Phillips.
As a fellow director at our London-based company, I, Joseph Morel, remained discreet when the Mail reached out to me regarding the upcoming movie project we are working on.
He said there was a desire to ‘get production finished before we make any official announcements’.
However, since the letters were mistakenly addressed to the incorrect Monson Road, the project may face the potential issue of not securing council approval.
Films produced by Neon Picturehouse in the past are House Hunting, Epiphany, and Serendipity. A resident from Monson Road, London NW10, commented that it seems they’ve ventured into an unusual topic for their latest production.
As your trusted lifestyle advisor, I’d like to clarify a minor mix-up that occurred yesterday. The notifications, unintentionally, were delivered to the incorrect address on Monson Road. However, I want to assure you that we promptly addressed this issue on the very same day, ensuring accuracy moving forward.
He mentioned that the letters had been accidentally sent to the wrong street first, but they were swiftly delivered to the correct one right away.
We make sure to follow all the regulations set by councils when it comes to obtaining permits for filming on the streets.
