North American teams are up for a super boost at RLCS 2025 Open 1

In the initial tournament of the fresh Rocket League esports campaign in North America, an intriguing blend of lesser-known squads and esteemed veterans will compete.

The path to competing in the Birmingham Major for North American Rocket League squads begins with this tournament, the RLCS 2025 Open 1 NA. This event promises to demonstrate a fresh equilibrium in the local competitive landscape as a result of the upheavals caused by offseason roster changes.

In a significant shakeup, one of the most formidable teams in the region has switched organizations. The players who previously played for G2 Stride are now part of NRG Esports this season. This move mirrors the transformation experienced by the 2024 World Champions on the European stage last year. It’s intriguing to watch how they’ve adjusted to this transition.

In RLCS 2025, other prominent squads have made changes to their lineups. Will these strategic shifts prove beneficial at the NA Open 1 and throughout Split 1? Surprisingly, some lesser-known teams have also progressed to later stages. Could these underdogs produce significant upsets?

All the details concerning the first open qualifier for Rocket League in North America are available. Don’t miss the live stream, and take a look at the comprehensive results.
