Noel Gallagher joins forces with Zak Starkey and Mantra Of The Cosmos star Shaun Ryder on new song

Iconic musician Noel Gallagher, formerly of Oasis, has teamed up with the supergroup Mantra Of The Cosmos for a brand-new, mind-bending psychedelic song.

In this tune, titled “Domino Bones (Gets Dangerous),” Noel, aged 57, collaborates with Shaun Ryder of Happy Mondays, also 62 years old; Ringo Starr’s son Zak Starkey, who is 59; and the ex-Oasis bassist Andy Bell, at 54 years of age.

On the 19th of January, Zak, who’s previously been to Liverpool just once, is set to perform with his band for a couple of shows at The Cavern Club, which gained notoriety due to The Beatles.

Talking about his latest release, Zak excitedly shared: “It’s rare for a renowned songwriter from my generation, and let’s not forget Shaun, an exceptional beat poet in our time, to send a song to me.

I was momentarily stunned since it’s not an occurrence one wishes to mishandle! Fortunately, everything turned out splendidly – everyone seems to appreciate it!

As a lifestyle enthusiast, let me share a personal anecdote: I’ve grown quite fond of Shaun, and when I received a text from Noel saying, “By the way, you’ve got a unique talent – the British equivalent of Bob Dylan,” I couldn’t help but feel genuinely flattered. And trust me, Noel isn’t one to throw around compliments lightly; he’s witnessed Shaun’s work firsthand. In fact, Noel refers to him as the “king of lyrics.

Zak found it personally significant that the location chosen for the band’s comeback was somewhere he had never visited before, expressing his disbelief at this fact.

Besides being the place where my parents fell in love, which was the Beatles’ cavern, there’s a rich family history associated with it. Who knows? Maybe I was conceived there too!

On Tuesday, a supposed setlist for Oasis’s eagerly anticipated 2025 reunion tour found its way onto social media platforms. Subsequently, Liam Gallagher, aged 52 at the time, validated the list’s accuracy.

People went wild during the summer as Noel and Liam revealed they had made up, promising a comeback in 2025, sparking excitement among their fans.

They haven’t shared a stage performance since their split in 2009, which was triggered by a fight backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in France. This will mark their first joint appearance on stage since then.

The much-hyped events have been shrouded in mystery since it was confirmed in August 2024.

However, it appears that the secret has been revealed following a fan’s claim of leaking the list of songs for the tour, yet unfortunately, one of their most popular hits seems to be left out from the lineup.

In other words, it’s known that the concert sequence commences with “Acquiesce,” which is the sole Oasis song where both brothers harmonize together, often chosen as an opening number for previous performances.

This hit single, titled “Some Might Say,” was the band’s initial chart-topper in the UK. It can be found on their second studio album, “What’s The Story (Morning Glory),” which came out in 1995.

Afterward, the Gallaghagers play a few of their favorite songs such as Lyla, Shakermaker, The Hindu Times, Columbia, and Cast No Shadow.

1995’s well-known song “She’s Electric” is said to be the 8th number in the supposed lineup, with tracks from different eras interspersed afterwards, such as “Stand By Me”, “Stop Crying Your Heart Out”, “The Importance of Being Idle”, “Half The World Away”, “Whatever”, and “Slide Away”.

In their performances, the band plans to save their most beloved songs for last, with their first single from 1994, Supersonic, being the fifteenth song they play.

The Liam-led anthem is followed by Morning Glory, Rock ‘n’ Roll Star and Cigarettes and Alcohol.

1995’s third-to-last release, titled “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” has garnered an impressive 995 million plays on Spotify and is widely recognized by music enthusiasts worldwide.

From their 1994 debut album “Definitely Maybe,” the nearly forgotten tune “Live Forever” is typically positioned just before the Gallagher siblings perform their seven-and-a-half-minute hit, “Champagne Supernova,” to conclude the show.

As a die-hard fan, it’s hard to believe that “Wonderwall” – with over 2.2 billion plays on Spotify and being the only top 40 entry of the group on the US Billboard Hot 100 – hasn’t been included in the setlist. I mean, you’d think a hit from 1995 like this would be an automatic encore!

As a devoted fan following Liam, the lead singer with an impressive 3.8 million followers on X, I can’t help but share his recent response regarding the rumored song list. In his own words, he casually mentioned, “It’s not too far away.
