Noel Gallagher confesses his ‘love’ for woman that ‘reminds him of a dinner lady’ as Oasis singer’s ex-wife drops cryptic hint they’re back together

Noel Gallagher jokingly revealed his affection for a woman he described as resembling a school dinner lady, crediting her with sharing in the journey of Oasis’s success.

The 58-year-old singer recently shared something personal in a new interview. This came after he toured with his brother Liam, 52, for the first time in 16 years earlier this year.

He shared these thoughts while publicly supporting a new book about the band Oasis, titled ‘Trying to Find A Way Out of Nowhere’.

This collection features previously unpublished photos of Noel and Liam Gallagher, taken by photographer Jill Furmanovsky and personally curated by Noel.

He fondly likened the 72-year-old to his mother, Peggy, recalling how much they all immediately liked Jill when she first appeared at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge in 1994.

I bumped into her on the stairs behind the scenes. She had a vibe that reminded me of those wonderful women who work in school cafeterias – and I mean that as a good thing! My own mother was a lunch lady, so it’s a real compliment.

He told The Mirror that while he was performing, he noticed the school dinner lady in the crowd taking professional-quality photos from the front row.

She was putting together a photography book called ‘The Moment,’ and I got a sneak peek at a draft. The very first photo was one Jill took of Paul McCartney as a schoolgirl, right outside his home.

She wanted a rising, modern band to feature at the end of her book, and we were gaining popularity quickly at the time, making us a great fit.

After the first photoshoot, she started showing up to all of our events. We don’t mean this as an insult, but she reminded us of our mothers – she’s about the same height and build as mine.

Noel Gallagher’s ex-wife, Meg Mathews, recently shared a puzzling post on Instagram that many fans think suggests she and the Oasis guitarist have rekindled their romance after 24 years.

In July, Meg, age 59, revealed to the Daily Mail’s Katie Hind that she’s been a source of support for Noel following his £20 million divorce from Sara MacDonald. She’s also been helping him work towards a possible reunion with his brother, Liam, and the band Oasis.

Noel’s daughter, Anais, 25, shared a photo of a newspaper article on Instagram. The article was about a possible reunion with his brother, and she captioned the post ‘Part 2,’ mirroring the article’s headline, ‘Gallagher reunion: Part 2’.

Noel was seen leaving Chiltern Firehouse with Sally Fielding, who sources say is his new girlfriend, only hours after he’d been partying with Madonna until 4 in the morning.

Their 1997 wedding in Las Vegas featured an Elvis impersonator, but the marriage ended in a bitter divorce less than four years later. The split was famously one of the most unpleasant celebrity divorces in recent memory.

Rumors circulated that Noel had been unfaithful, and the aftermath deeply affected Meg, who had given birth to their daughter, Anais, only eight months prior, to the point she experienced post-traumatic stress.

Oasis is currently touring America, and they recently played a show in Pasadena, California.

The Gallagher brothers sold out two nights at the Rose Bowl last week. 

While on tour with Oasis, Noel has apparently found inspiration and written several new songs, possibly for a future Oasis album.

Noel Gallagher, also the lead singer of High Flying Birds, is considering whether to use his new music for a solo project or potentially reunite with Liam to create a new Oasis album.

According to a source, Noel Gallagher’s recent performances to enthusiastic fans have sparked a burst of creativity. However, it’s still unclear if this will result in a new Oasis album featuring Liam Gallagher on vocals.
