Noah Kahan sends fans wild as he brings out surprise guest Lewis Capaldi at his BST Hyde Park headline show – after Scottish singer’s emotional Glastonbury comeback

Fans were thrilled into a frenzy when Noah Kahan unexpectedly invited Lewis Capaldi to join him on stage during his main event at BST in Hyde Park on a Friday night.

Following a remarkable series of performances featuring special guests Gracie Abrams and Gigi Perez, the artist reserved the most impressive performance for near the end, inviting the Scottish hitmaker to join him for their second-to-last song, “Northern Attitude.

After the initial verse and chorus of the song, the stage lights dimmed, revealing a secret performer making a swift entrance.

As the second song started, the lights brightened, showcasing Lewis, causing the audience to erupt in excitement at their musical partnership.

The pair donned identical Chelsea soccer jerseys as they harmoniously sang a heartfelt ballad during their performance, marking Lewis’ second UK festival gig within a week.

Last Saturday, Lewis astonishingly appeared on stage once more after a challenging period of time, surprising everyone with an impromptu performance at Glastonbury.

For the past two years, he stepped away from work to devote time to managing his mental health and adapting to his recent Tourette’s syndrome diagnosis. This hiatus became necessary after he couldn’t complete his performance at Glastonbury festival in 2023.

However, he left spectators emotionally moved this past weekend as he made a triumphant return to Glastonbury, and his comeback performance has been simply remarkable.

On Friday, I was thrilled to share Lewis’ latest release, Survive, a poignant account of his challenging two-year journey that has resonated deeply with countless followers nationwide. It’s been an incredible experience watching this song climb up the charts and become a massive success.

Lewis has achieved not just his biggest debut ever, but also the largest first-week sales of any song released this year for his comeback track, setting a record in an overwhelming fashion.

In its initial release, the album has sold an impressive 68,500 copies and garnered over 4 million streams, outperforming the singer’s prior record of 56,000 units achieved with the 2022 hit single ‘Forget Me’.

As the proud creator of this week’s UK Number 1 hit, “Survive,” I feel compelled to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you who have streamed and downloaded it. Your support truly makes a world of difference!

Coming back after some time away, I find myself truly touched by the overwhelming display of love and encouragement – it’s simply amazing!

‘I can’t thank everybody enough for all the kind words since Glastonbury – and now this!

‘It’s been the best week of my life. I hope you continue to enjoy the song, it means a lot to me.’

In a close competition, Lewis edged past MK and Chrystal to claim the number one position. meanwhile, Dior from these two artists held second place. Completing the top five were Sabrina Carpenter’s Manchild, Rayvn Lenae’s Love Me Not, and Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan.

Lewis took the lead in a tight race against MK and Chrystal, with Dior coming in second. The rest of the top five included Sabrina Carpenter’s Manchild, Rayvn Lenae’s Love Me Not, and Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan.

The excitement over Lewis’ comeback has reached such heights that there’s been an unprecedented surge of public curiosity about his past music following his emotional performance at Glastonbury last week.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’ve recently observed an impressive surge in the popularity of someone I once admired deeply. Streams of their music have skyrocketed by an astounding 115%, while their 2019 chart-topping album, “Divinely Inspired,” has seen a staggering 198% increase in plays. It’s fascinating to witness the enduring power of great art and the timeless appeal of their talent.

On the same day as Lewis’s performance at Glastonbury last Friday, Lorde achieved her first-ever Number 1 album in the United Kingdom, which she secured under the Virgin label.

In a close contest, she came out on top, edging past the second place finisher, Bruce Springsteen’s Tracks II, as well as third place holder, Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N Sweet, with Ed Sheeran finishing in fourth position.

The singer from New Zealand, who has caused a stir with her provocative album cover, expressed amazement at the outpouring of backing she’s received since her latest album was released.

Addressing the Music Charts, Lorde excitedly declared: “I can hardly believe it – I’ve reached Number 1 in the UK! This is utterly unreal!

In a heartwarming moment, I sensed an abundance of love from the UK while on Virgin. Words can’t express how grateful I am, and I eagerly anticipate reuniting with you on tour as soon as possible!

At Glastonbury, there were numerous celebrities, yet Lewis’ heartfelt comeback to the limelight stood out as a significant moment.

Welcomed by thunderous applause from the multitude at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage recently, he emotionally resurfaced two years later, having been cut short during his performance at the festival previously.

In a heartfelt address to his supporters, he declared, “‘I wasn’t certain two years ago if I would return to this, but here I am again!’

As a lifestyle expert, I recently had the privilege of witnessing Lewis perform some of his iconic songs. A poignant moment came when he sang “Survive” for the first time in front of an enthusiastic crowd, and I couldn’t help but feel choked up alongside him.

In the audience, people were spotted weeping and shouting his name prior to uniting with him for a performance of the popular song “Someone You Loved.

During a heartfelt address, Lewis expressed, “It feels wonderful to return to Glastonbury. I won’t share many words today because they may cause me to shed tears, but know that I am deeply grateful for your presence here.

Give it another try, I think it’ll go smoother this time! Today’s session will be brief, but I felt compelled to return and complete what I left unfinished previously. Plus, it seems everyone knew about it already!

In the midst of his recent triumphs – both from the successful show and his emotionally stirring latest single – the Scottish artist unveiled plans for a 10-date tour this week.

This year, the artist behind “Someone You Love” is scheduled to perform at venues in Sheffield, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Nottingham, and will spend two days at the O2 towards its end.

Lewis announced on Instagram that these will be his exclusive performances in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Europe for the entire year.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale on July 8, while general sale is on July 10.
