‘No10 lied to hide distaste for Donald Trump’s speech in UK’

During his tenure as prime minister, Tony Blair faced allegations that he attempted to assert undue influence during the Queen Mother’s funeral.

Currently, Sir Keir Starmer, the Labor Prime Minister, finds himself at the center of a dispute connected with Buckingham Palace directly.

It has been uncovered that Downing Street, along with the Royal Family, have been found to be misleading about the planned state visit of Donald Trump.

On September 17, which is the day following the House of Commons’ break for their party conferences, it was stated that the US President could not address both houses of Parliament due to the timing of his visit.

It’s apparent that the parliamentary clerks have stated that this explanation lacked merit. They referenced a historical instance, where Pope Benedict spoke before both houses of Parliament in Westminster Hall back in 2010, as a precedent to support their claim.

The event transpired on September 17, which coincidentally was a day after the House of Commons had adjourned for its annual conference break.

According to a high-ranking official from the parliament, there was no fuss or complaint when Benedict addressed us outside regular school terms.

It seems evident that Sir Keir Starmer’s team strongly opposed the idea of President Trump delivering a speech at the Palace of Westminster. While they are allowed their opinion, it’s inappropriate for them to distort facts by suggesting that the suggested dates made such a speech impracticable.

Benedict’s speech during his visit wasn’t free of disagreements. Prior to his trip, he encouraged Roman Catholic bishops to oppose a gay rights bill with great enthusiasm or fervor. This prompted a response from human rights activists who demonstrated upon his arrival in the country.

It appears as if there were efforts made by Downing Street and Buckingham Palace to ensure the White House didn’t perceive President Trump as being slighted, despite the strong impression that such a scenario might have been unfolding.

A representative from No10 informs me: “We’re thrilled that President Trump has agreed to a rare, groundbreaking second official visit by the British monarch, and the Prime Minister is excited to extend this invitation to President Trump in the United Kingdom.

In September, Eric Idle, aged 82, has clarified that he won’t be sharing the stage again with his Monty Python teammates. Their last joint performance was a series of ten shows in London back in 2014.

Disgruntled after a disagreement regarding business matters with John Cleese, Sir Michael Palin, and Terry Gilliam (all members of Monty Python), Idle expresses his frustration: “I seriously doubt that this group will reunite to be funny. I don’t believe it’s feasible. Instead, I want to create humor with new collaborators or perform music with other talented artists.

‘It’s your day!’ Top tips for brides by newlywed Toff

After tying the knot with James Watt, the founder of BrewDog pub chain, in March, Georgia Toffolo has shared some wedding tips for future brides.

Here is the essential advice from the 30-year-old I’m A Celebrity winner, who donned a Divine Atelier dress at her wedding to Watt, 43 (both seen on the right), during their ceremony in Aberdeenshire:

1. Embrace change and adaptability.
2. Cherish every moment with loved ones.
3. Learn from your mistakes, but don’t dwell on them.
4. Be grateful for what you have.
5. Always strive to be the best version of yourself.
6. Cultivate positive relationships.
7. Believe in your own strength and resilience.

When it comes to planning an event, remember it’s not about fulfilling some unspoken obligation or playing diplomat. Instead, focus on inviting those dear to you, making it a truly personal experience rather than a networking opportunity. Don’t let guilt cloud your judgment – this is your day, and it’s all about celebrating the people who matter most in your life.

Opting for homemade wedding cakes is a wise financial choice. On our special day, we chose to have our children help us bake one in the morning. It lacked those expensive, multi-layered tiers and inflated prices. Instead, it was crafted with pure affection. Without a doubt, it was our best decision.

Instead of saying “Flowers are overpriced and overrated,” you could say “I find flowers to be excessively priced and unnecessary, but let me tell you about the daffodils I picked from our kitchen table – they were just right. Costing only £2 from the supermarket, not a single florist was involved.

Why should the morning of your special day be spent separately? After all, waking up together on your wedding day can be incredibly romantic (and soothing). Sharing your jitters and anticipation together is a precious moment worth cherishing.

It’s delightful when CHILDREN are allowed at weddings. Kids can create the most wonderful pandemonium, especially on the dance floor. They sprinkle magic rather than disorder.

Instead of having a formal three-course dinner, we opted for burgers at BrewDog. Grazing tables, wood-fired pizzas, and food trucks offer much more excitement than a traditional meal.

In this modern world, you aren’t obligated to alter your last name. Instead, he has the choice to adopt it, or even combine it with his own. The customs may suggest differently, but your personal identity remains unchanged.

Have King’s garden woes hit Highgrove’s kitchen?

It seems that King Charles isn’t only experiencing difficulties with maintaining staff at his countryside residence in Gloucestershire, but also elsewhere.

Highgrove is currently seeking several culinary and management positions, including a Sous Chef, a Chef de Partie, a Commis Chef, and an Assistant Hospitality Manager.

The positions are open on a permanent, full-time basis, offering salaries up to £30,000 for the hospitality role and up to £38,000 for the head chef job.

Last weekend, an investigation by The Sunday Times found that eleven out of the King’s twelve gardeners resigned due to dissatisfaction with his alleged harsh and disrespectful comments. The King’s Foundation, a charity organization, uncovered signs of staffing shortages and recommended a review of wages as a potential solution.

In reality, the renowned romance novelist Dame Jilly Cooper admits that she fails at matchmaking due to Bluebell, her spirited and dominating greyhound.

She mentions that if she were to bring a man and a woman together on her couch and her cat, Bluebell, happened to enter the room, the playful Bluebell would gracefully stroll in, jumping between the two, swinging her elegant hips to create distance, as she explains about her late pet.

Dame Jilly, 88, reflects: ‘Having a dog stops one reaching for the gin.’

Party girl Pike’s tickled pink about stage role

Making her debut on local stages after a 15-year absence, Saltburn’s renowned actress Rosamund Pike is eager to demonstrate that she is perfectly at home on the stage.

At the party celebrating the premiere of Suzie Miller’s latest play, Inter Alia, a 46-year-old alumnus from Oxford University made quite an impression with his striking pair of fuchsia opera gloves.

The actress previously known for playing Bond girls, and now mother of two with her partner Robie Uniacke (age 64), dressed them in a vibrant Erdem floral gown.

It’s a well-kept secret that Banksy has: Over a dozen of his pieces are tucked away within the Swiss Embassy located in London.

Inquired about any unseen works by the street artist, his initial representative and cameraman, Steve Lazarides, answered: ‘The parking lot of the Swiss Embassy.’

He mentions: ‘It was absolutely insane. The elderly Swiss ambassador organized a wild dance party in the embassy’s parking lot and invited Banksy.’

In my discussion at the event titled “Crime Pays – The Untold Story Behind Banksy,” co-hosted by Grove Gallery, I mentioned that approximately ten to fifteen of his completed pieces can be found adorning the walls of that particular embassy.
