No charges filed against Kim Delaney or her husband following domestic dispute

In a recent domestic altercation, actress Kim Delaney and her spouse will not face charges from the prosecutors, as announced by the District Attorney’s office in Los Angeles County on Tuesday.

On Saturday, the leading actress of ABC’s “NYPD Blue,” Delaney, along with her husband, James Morgan, were taken into custody after what TMZ reported as an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Delaney was detained by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on charges of alleged assault involving a potentially dangerous object, while Morgan was arrested for a domestic violence-related misdemeanor.

After a span of three days, the prosecution team announced that there was not enough proof to bring charges against the couple residing in Marina del Rey.

In the year 2022, the pair tied the knot, yet they encountered problems shortly afterward, leading Delaney to file for a divorce mere five months into their marriage.

According to court records, Delaney claimed that Morgan physically harmed her at a hotel in Philadelphia. In her petition for an emergency protection order, she expressed fear of living with Morgan again, stating that he had been previously detained for instances of domestic violence.

The judge issued a restraining order, but later dismissed it since Delaney and Morgan didn’t appear in court. Their divorce proceedings were put on hold.

Just two weeks ago, Delaney posted a photo of herself with Morgan. “Pure love,” read the caption.
