Nissan Unleashes 460 HP Armada NISMO
Summary
- 460-hp NISMO variant debuts for 2026 Armada
- Enhanced handling, design, and performance upgrades
- Arrives at Nissan dealers this fall
Nissan is venturing into the high-performance realm for its full-size SUV, introducing the 2026 Armada NISMO. The in-house motorsports division has fine-tuned this top-tier model, which generates an impressive 460 horsepower from a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 engine, marking it as the most potent Armada ever manufactured. By using premium fuel, an additional 35 hp can be unlocked, and to heighten the road driving experience, the exhaust system has been made less restrictive, resulting in a more audible performance.
The Armada NISMO includes fine-tuned electric power steering and an adaptable electronic air suspension, enhancing its handling for a more responsive drive. Its performance is further improved with exclusive forged wheels and high-performance NISMO tires. Aesthetically, the SUV undergoes a striking makeover, with updates to its front and rear facias, fender flares, red-painted brake calipers, and a new spoiler at the back. To complete its menacing appearance, a special Stealth Gray paint option is available.
Inside, the improvements carry on with seats upholstered in quilted leather, accented with red details, adjustable seat bolsters, aluminum pedals, and NISMO branding all around. Nissan’s new NISMO model has been added to the existing Armada trims – SV, SL, Platinum, PRO-4X, and Platinum Reserve – marking the sportiest offering in the collection. The forthcoming NISMO Armada is anticipated to reach dealerships this fall.
